Lowepro Hardside 400 Hard Shell Case For DSLRs

Wow - about time. As an avid GoPro customer, I find the sheer number of spare pieces and parts overwhelming, but the first time you don't take them all you quickly realize that the one item you left behind is the one that you need most. This beautiful case allows you to store plenty of GoPros and plenty of spare parts. I'll try to add some pictures, but I've put in 8 GoPro 4 cameras and some accessories - not everything, but way more than many comparable cases.Storage aside, the plus of this well built case is that the padding within is actually a backpack, so if you really needed to grab your gear and run you could pull out your padded inner case, zip it up, and put it on your back. What an ingenious way to store things!

I have been searching for a good hard case that would hold all my camera and gopro accessories in one case. This case defiantly allows for that. I have almost every single gopro attachment ever made and they all fit securely into this case. I like the fact that is has a padded backpack inside that can be taken out and carried on my back for hikes or scenic shots that I have to travel to. Lowepro does not disappoint when it comes to their cases. Highly recommend.

Case is well built and does what I needed to protect 3 camcorders , 1 Sony camera and 2 extra lenses, Rode wireless mic and batteries. The padded partitions worked great and are completely adjustable for my equipment. The small zipper bags have a clear side, but for some reason they printed a small grid pattern inside the clear portion of the bags. A little difficult to see what is inside the bags.

I wanted to like this. I love everything Lowepro and have about a dozen bags from them but this really let me down. The idea is great. While traveling use the hard case and when you need more versatility just take out the backpack. The backpack is great but the hard case is flimsy. I can see this eventually cracking. I returned it because for the price I could get a better hard case or bag butnot both which is what I would have loved to have had with this Lowepro.

Well made and solid case for safely storing photographic equipment. The lack of a wheeled option is a negative for this case as when fully loaded it is moderately heavy to carry which might be a concern if carrying a distance. Otherwise great case and would recommend.

The case is tough and light. The move-able dividers make it quite versatile. I haven't tried the interior case as a back-pack yet, though.

Fabulous hard case. Very hard.! Very strong..very "proof"... It has been in the river already, not through accident I just sat it there between rocks in the river while I was taking photo's no problem whatsoever. You can be very very confident it is going to protect and keep your gear dry. The insert being a camera bag is a brilliant idea and controls shock probably better than foam. I can get my photo kit and a MacBook pro 13inch (in a sleeve on top of the insert) inside the case and walk straight onto any airline with it. Its lowepro design but they wisely went to underwater kinetics to build it and it shows. They are without equal in this area.

Protects my equipment but the rucksack is a little smaller than the case. Should come with just some foam inside so you could fit more equipment in. Is very heavy.

Returning this as the Size is smaller than it appears in photo. The diameter mentioned here is of outside of Hardcase and from inside it is very small and does not fit my camera and lenses properly. The quality of Hardcase does not appear long-lasting and will not take the biting of traveling. Lock is to fragile and is sure to break singer or later. However the idea of having a soft bag along with Hardcase is great but not worth the price even at Rs 4800. I would recommend Epicase

Got this one for INR 5000, which made it a great deal.The outer hardcase isn’t as sturdy as one might expect it to be.The latches are very thin & don’t look strong enough to take any sort of beating.
