Epic Rialto Carded Black & Gray Corkscrew with Chrome Design

Purchased as a gift for server in a fine dining restaurant at their request, so you know the quality is good and it should last.

The handle pin hinge for the bottle fork is cheap/stiff; the screw is thin, the combination fork is awkward, the handle is too short making it hard to remove cork. The S&F screw I already had was so much better for less than half the price, I went and bought a second S&F one.

I bought this expecting it to not be good because it was so cheap but wanted to buy it because it looks like one I have used before that worked great and I was pleasantly surprised. I work at a restaurant and open bottles of wine every day and this one is very smooth and easy to use, makes it seem easy which is what you need. The only part that could be a bit better is the knife could be a sharper but that isn't that big of a deal. I plan on buying another one.

I had never used this type of opener before, but had seen waiters use them with flourish in restaurants. It's super easy (there are actually youtube videos on how to use a wine key). I was a pro after the first bottle. Don't be put off that the blade is serrated and not "sharp" it doesn't need to be to cut through the foil. Perfect and I can't hurt myself!

I thought this was the exact opener I had. Alas, not so. This one is wobbly and take three hands to use. Not the quality I am used to. And no, I did not contact seller. It is not worth the time price ratio.

I have worked behind a bar for years and this has always been my key of choice. The construction is good and the double hinge makes opening a quick process. The only complaint that I have is that the hinge housing is made of plastic and can break if you rush the opening. Otherwise this is a solid purchase.

Nice corkscrew! Have opened hundreds of wine bottles with this corkscrew and it is still working great. I have tried other brands, but always come back to this brand. Makes opening wine bottles very easy. This is a two step waiters style corkscrew. A must if you open lots of bottles!
