Good sound - good price
I'm somewhat particular about my music and my headphones and have specific things I look for. I'll try to touch on those items in this review.Sound Quality: obviously most important. I look for solid bass (not boomy or hyped). And clear trebles (not sizzling or hyped). These headphones performed okay on both counts although it did seem the bass was a little hyped. I have some expensive headphones that these did not compare favorably to. I also look for general clarity in vocals... here, they did good... nothing nasally or buried in the mix. The exception came when turning on the noise reduction circuit. More on that later.Comfort: okay, I have a big head (size xxl hat). So comfort is important to me. These headphones are adequate in that regard. I had to extend them fully, but at full extension they fit me properly and comfortably, sealing off around the ear. They did not completely surround my ears as some studio monitors do, but they did cover my ears. The padding is decent and I was able to listen for a reasonable amount of time before they became uncomfortable pressing on the perimeter of my ear. If your head/ears are smaller, my guess is they'd be plenty comfortable.Noise reduction: I'm not used to using this feature and wasn't sure how to test it, so I simply sat down next to an air cleaner I have in my home and tried turning noise reduction on and off to see what happened. There was definitely a reduction in the noise... mainly in the lower frequencies. It didnt completely eliminate the sound of the blowing air, but what was left was a thinned out version of the original noise. It was definitely an improvement in the level of noise. The only thing I didnt care for was that there seemed to be an impact on the sound of the music also. Again, the noise reduction thinned the music and left it a little nasally.Controls: straight forward controls. Theres a slider to turn noise reduction on and off and an adjacent button to activate the phone function. Since the phone button was just below the slider, I kept accidentally turning on the phone when trying to activate the noise reduction. Better button placement would have helped.Overall, I was reasonably impressed with these headphones. Especially considering the price, they seem to do well. They come with a nice, soft sided carry case and needed cables. I expect I'll get some good use from these.

Pretty good headphones
I bought these to replace some old $20 Sony headphones that have been falling apart. Well, you sure get some pretty nicely made headphones for the price. I like the way they fold up. It includes a carry bag, a USB cable for charging, a 3.5mm cable for non bluetooth use which is how I'm using it right now. There's also a funky adapter with two jacks on it for airliners. I don't think you'll ever need them. And there's an instruction booklet.Well, I primarily use it on my mp3 player sitting in front of a PC at work in an office environment. My mp3 player only has a 3.5mm jack. Well I like the nice wire it uses. It looks well made and snaps into the female jacks real nice. The ANC is nice. It has big slide switch which turns on a blue LED. It works on the lower frequencies. You can't expect these to work like a $350 Bose. So at my desk I hear a computer fan and a lower frequency ventilation fan in the ceiling. When I turn the ANC on it kills the ventilation fan but has no effect on the computer fan. I work in an aircraft factory making military cargo planes. So to check the ANC effectiveness I took a walk around the production floor. It's a noisy place. Ear protection is required in some especially noisy areas. You should hear what riveting sounds like. BRAAAAAAAAP! I just walked along the "streets" (You literally can drive a big truck indoors) . So I was listening to a podcast strolling along with the ANC and it kept the noise down, certain low frequencies were eliminated and I didn't have to raise the volume to hear the podcast any better.Next: Battery power, only needed for the ANC and/or the bluetooth. As long as you are using the 3.5mm wire you can use these headphones with a completely dead battery too. I did play with the bluetooth. I linked it to an old android phone (not in phone service) and it linked easily. I listed to a YouTube video on it with the WiFi. I also linked it to an iPhone 8 easily too.Comfort: It takes a little getting used to. Sometimes I need to re-position them a little bit or take them off for a little while. It has nice padding. I've previously use only "on ear" headphones, these are "over ear".
