First impression
I vacuumed my entire house before setting everything up. I had to connect to my 2.4 Wifi since the other didn't work with the app. It did get caught on my 1st floor bathroom rug and sent me a message stating it was stuck. Now I know... First time run, I'm amazed. It picked up so much considering I pre-cleaned everything. I have carpet and LVT flooring. Straight lines, edge cleaning, and looks nice. The app always states 89% charged but heard this is an issue. You can't change the time zone that I noticed, so, first day, it was my alarm clock. People complained about noise which is ridiculous because we are rating a vacuum. I put it upstairs on the 2nd day for my hall and my bedroom. I shut the other doors and the bathroom since I have more rugs. The battery only lasted 48 minutes but I had boost, 2 swipes, and edge clean set up through the app and it was all carpet. It did basically finish everything so I didn't care. So, first impression from a single Dad with no time, is $550 worth it? If you can get one, get it. I may change my mind later though. I couldn't believe how much it picked up that my loud vacuum didn't. Oh, no pets either.

Cleans good with a high moise
It works in a house where 3 long hair dog lives. Cleans well and 1 charge is enough for 120m2 (1300sqft) . Does not fall down stairs. 2 dislikes , first high noise level, second the app does not help to much it could contain selection of cleaning area or more than one schedule / day.

Make sure you buy through authorized dealer or warranty null and void.
I purchased this from mega deals and savings. It stopped docking on home base after 3 months. I called irobot customer support and was told it was not covered under warranty since maga deals and savings was not an authorized dealer. Which translates into I have no warranty on something I spent a lot of money on.I have owned many roomba over the years and have gotten really good with repairing them myself. I have 4 in my house at the present time. I took it apart and found a broken sensor wire. I stole one of a retired roomba (I keep them for spare parts). I was able to get it working again. No thanks to I robot or the the unauthorized dealer. Shame on both of them. I will still purchase and use roomba, but buyer beware. Make sure they are an authorized dealer.

Rosie (the best Roombia)
Only had “Rosie” two weeks and I’m in love. She has removed one household task that I dislike. Still learning how to optimize Rosie but I see nothing but good things for her in my house. One complaint is that I was disappointed in the battery life. My house is 2300sq ft and Rosie had to recharge after 750. I was expecting her not to recharge until 1000sq ft. Rosie completed the rest of the house after recharging two more times.

Initially impressive but the app and manual need some SERIOUS work
I was so impressed with this robot on the first day after the first use, I bought a second one from Costco to have one upstairs and downstairs, and I am still glad I bought them. The cleaning map after it finishes is really a nifty feature. BUT, there is an unnecessary learning curve because of the poor app design in combination with a wretched "manual" that is barely worthy of the label. Having a phone app to control your robot is nice, but you do think they have spent 10 more minutes on the app to even MENTION the error codes? Or (dreaming here) another 30 minutes on the app to REPORT the error code from the robot to the app, and THEN spend another 5 minutes writing the app and provide a little table of the error codes??? Or perhaps, heaven forbid, actually provide a link on the app to an EXPLANATION of the error codes????? I guess all these features are just beyond the competence of iRobot. The manual is even worse! Did you know you have to leave at least some LIGHTS ON in the room for Roomba to work???? Did you think they would MENTION that in the app or the manual???? Nope, you will find that out when you get "error 17." Of course, not only cannot you find NO MENTION of error codes in general, or error 17 specifically on the app, there is NONE in a 40-page manual!!???? Now, of course, the 40-page manual is the 10-page manual printed in 4 languages, but no mention of the error codes in ANY language. You have to find error code 17, and all the things that can cause it, by searching on the internet!!! What were these people thinking???? Anyway, the hardware is better than the app or the manual, but those are really low bars. You can see in the attached picture the readout you get when the Roomba finishes which is impressive. EXCEPT what is the "dirt" number???? The manual doesn't tell you. Three emails later iRobot can't even tell me??? I can't say this is the worst product manual I have ever seen, but the only competition comes from Asia in the form of non-native English speakers trying to write a manual in English. Update: after FOUR emails I finally found someone at iRobot who know what the number in the "dirt" box meant: "The 13 indicates how many times the robot entered areas of high concentration of dirt."

Great deep cleaning
I love that it deep cleans. I wish you could pause it longer than 120 minutes. Sometimes I need to stop her and continue the following day. She revacuums what she’s already done the previous day, so it takes her longer to finish the cycle.
