CARBON-BRUSH

It works
The brushes look good, and they revived the motor and is working fine. However, the plastic bag was marked just “Schunk”, no word of Bosch part numbers. So I could not really tell if they are genuine OEM parts, and makes me wonder if they are the same as a $7 part I could have purchased instead.

Exact replacement
These are 36 x 12.5 x 5 mm carbon motor brushes made by Bosch. Chances are that any brushes of those dimensions will work for you, as long as they are motor brushes, but these are the real thing. At minimum, you will want the correct terminals on top so that these can be put in the motor easily. Once you feed the spring through the hole, it's just a matter of pushing the tab through, pushing down on the other end when the two notched parts are lined up, and pulling the tab forward. If you get a really off brand, you'd have to resolder the connectors. There are non-OEM versions that should work fine and you can get them for as little as $6 if you don't mind taking your chances on something sent from China. If you look at the photos of those, you can see that they aren't of the same quality. That doesn't mean that they won't work, but chances are you are looking for these because you want to fix your motor ASAP. If I had a month or more to spare before my motor was scheduled to fail, I'd probably go for generic ones. But ordering these gave me the peace of mind to know that they would work, and they work perfectly. The brushes are smooth coated, and are angled exactly for my motor. These have lasted me about six years in the past, but that will vary based on how much laundry you do, what spin speed you use, etc. I might end up getting a cheap off brand pair just to have spares in the house, but if you need brushes right away, get these.Note: There are several different sellers for these and all of them are required to stock the exact OEM item. If you don't get what you were expecting, it's probably the seller and not the item that's the problem.

Fits Bosch Axxis+ Washing Machine
Here some details to get at the motor for replacing carbon brushes on a Bosch Axxis washer:The back part of the washer comes off without removing the top cover. You will need torx T20 bit to do so.To disconnect the ground, in my case a yellow and green wire, I used a turkey pin to press into the eyelet of the male connector. Otherwise the female part does not come off, in contrast to all the videos you will watch. If this doesn't make sense, look at a spare male connector for the ground, you'll get it.The main connector can be just pulled off. Somewhat counterintuitively, you will have to reach around the motor from the other side.My only addition to all the videos that are around for replacing the brushes on the motor is that the springs get inevitably hung up on the metal housing of the brush. Unless you have the dexterity of a neurosurgeon, use the turkey pin to lift snagged spring windings off the terminals and into the "tunnel" that holds the carbon brush. For reassembly, watch that the belt sits on the center of the motor shaft. It ain't naturally so.One star subtracted for the somewhat exuberant price and the unavailability of Prime shipping. Good luck.

Pricey, But These Revived My Bosch Stackable Washing Machine
With these, and about an hour's worth of labor, I was able to get my Bosch stackable washer running like a champ. (Hint: If the motor won't turn, and you see a bunch of black dust in the back of your machine after you remove the cover, worn brushes are the likely culprit.) You can easily find videos on YouTube which will show you how to do the replacement. The hardest part is cramming those springs down their tubes, or at least, it was for me, with my big, clumsy fingers. Fortunately, I have enough patience and persistence. The part is wildly overpriced -- which is why I only gave it four stars -- but I wanted to be certain they would fit properly and otherwise meet the mfg's specs.

Exactly what I needed. My Bosch Nexxt 100 stopped spinning the drum. I would hear a faint "click" and it would cycle through the wash cycles without ever moving. Thought I was about to plop down 800 bucks for a new washing machine. After an online search of several forums, these turned up on some UK sites. Bosch doesn't provide any official info on the use of these here in the US, but these machines are transmission-less, with I'm assuming a DC motor that can vary in direction and speed directly. So, it took me an hour to get the motor removed (worse part was removing the wiring - the clips holding the wires squeeze in, not out) and about 10 minutes to replace the brushes. Expect one to be almost new looking and one to be worn out. Back in service no problems.

So far so good! These brushes are replacing the ones that are on a Bosch model wfmc2201uc One of the brushes I replaced was literally gone. I wrote a nasty e-mail to Bosch because they don't stock the motor nor the brushes.Once I installed these brushes I also noticed the rattling sound disappeared as well! Only reason i didn't give a 5 star was because of the price, but, I'm not complaining because my wife would be having us buy another washer!

Perfect Fit
This is exactly what my Bosch washer needed when it stopped spinning. It came quicker than expected and was way less expensive than getting it from a repair shop. Saved me a repair visit or buying a whole new motor like Bosch says you have to do. Watch some utube videos and do it yourself. Any handywoman can get this job done! Hopefully won't need them again for a long time but will definitely buy from here again if I do.
