Sargent Art 22-7202 12-Count Bi-Colored Pencils Set

They don't write awesomely. Your kid may stab themself with one of the pointy ends. Otherwise, whatever, they're colored pencils good enough for children. You won't hear them complain.

I was excited to try these, I like the idea that each colored pencil is two colors. I was surprised and disappointed when they came that only one side of the pencil is sharpened. The sharpener that I currently have isn't that great, so I haven't been able to test the unsharpened colors while I wait for a new sharpener. The colors that I have been able to use have decent pigmentation, but the bright and vibrant colors are not sharpened in the box so I haven't been able to test them yet.Pros:Decent spread of colors for the size.Pretty good pigmentation.Affordable.Doesn't seem to break easily/Allows for decent pressure application.Takes up less space since there are 2 colors in each pencil.Cons:Paint on some of the pencils is cracked down the body. While this is only cosmetic, it's annoying and they don't look as nice as I would like.Only half of the pencils come sharpened.A little difficult to sharpen.I would purchase these again for personal use, but I probably wouldn't buy them as a gift as they don't look as nice as I was expecting.

Sent irreverent color books to friends, and discovered the Sargent art pencils were my favorites. The softer coloring pigment goes on easier than some of the harder grades. Makes a good, and completely unexpected Christmas card for friends. I'm especially anxious to hear how some of my fighter pilot friends like theirs.

Got these like a day after I ordered them, needed it for my anatomy coloring book . Very convenient to have as they dont take up as much space as normal 24 colors would.

Decent for the price but I prefer the other ones I got at the same timeComparable to crayola pencilsOnly one end was sharpened which was a big disappointment as I wanted to have 24 colors today with right away have yet to sharpen the other endThey may end up being my daughters pencils or a back up I'm not sure yet

Wow, great pencils! I love having less pencils but that do twice the work! How cool is that? These will make great Christmas gifts.

They were a little waxy and you have to press down hard on them

Good buy - Got a few to give with adult coloring books.

Pencils broke easily. Does not sharpen well.
