This cable is exactly what I've been needing all this time! I have this underwater camera that I love and have used many times over the years, but it uses a USB to connect to a laptop for uploading. So I always have to wait till I get home to edit or share my photos/video. It's such a pain, especially on vacations where I don't bring my laptop, to have to wait every time! But this nifty little cable now makes it super easy to hook my camera right up to my smartphone! I can access all the files on the camera with one touch, and it didn't require any separate app or learning curve. I literally just plugged my camera into one end of the cable and then plugged the other end into my phone, and the USB folder popped right up in my notifications window! Then I just choose the photos I want to save to my Google photo drive, or, on my phone at least, you can share directly to any social media or messaging app. Sooooo much easier than waiting to get to a computer. The cable is quite short, which makes it very convenient and portable so I'm not carrying around a large, tangled up cord. It's easy to have on me all the time in my purse or beach bag. I wish I'd had this ages ago, as it would have saved so much time and hassle, especially when other people are waiting to see the photos you took of them. I highly recommend this easy-to-use cable if you are needing a solution to this sort of problem. So little money for such big convenience issues solved! I see myself using this all the time now, most importantly while traveling with my previously frustrating camera!

Needed this to update some AV equipment that only came with micro-usb. I was worried the plug end would be too bulky to fit, but its basically as small as a micro usb connector can be and fit perfectly. Very handy to have.

It looks and feels much higher quality, with a flexible plastic cord and well formed ends. Everything works as expected: my android phone accepts flash drives, keyboards and game controllers when they are plugged into this cord. The cord transfers data at USB 2 speed. I found that the micro usb end was a bit on the tight side, but the usb-A female end was the correct size. There's really not much more that can be said about the cable: everything works as expected and the quality feels fine. Plus the 2 pack is a pretty good deal. This little gadget did exactly what we needed it to do. My husband's Samsung J7 phone would no longer show the keyboard after an automatic software update. Because there was no keyboard on the lock screen, he was unable to get into his phone. I read online that other people who had the same issue plugged a keyboard into their phone with this little gadget and were able to use that keyboard. It worked perfectly. I was able to get in there and clear the keyboard cache and data and the Samsung keyboard acts as if it had not been misbehaving for months. If you're in the same situation, I highly recommend this little cable. It worked and was far cheaper than getting him a new phone.

This little adapter let me use my Samsung Galaxy Tab with a NanoVNA. Now I can use an app on the pad with a big screen to control the tiny NanoVNA instrument. It solved a big problem for me.

I purchased a single one of these cables in white. I tested the product by plugging an 8gb flashdrive into my LG G4 running Android v6.0 and it worked perfectly. I was able to view photos that were located on the flashdrive, and I was also able to copy photos and videos to the flashdrive without any issues. My one complaint with the cable is that the USB input and Micro USB plug seem a little "odd". The USB input feels a little tight but that could be on purpose in order to prevent a USB from falling out of the cable. The larger issue is with the Micro USB. The plug will go half way into a device before it starts to resist. This is normal with Micro USBs, but this cable "resists" very hard, almost to the point where I wondered if I had it plugged in all the way. I pushed the cable in harder and it clicked in, but it was a little worrysome. Since then I have not had to press as hard, but none of my other Micro USBs require as much push as this cable.

No other Micro USB to USB OTG cable worked for my phone. This is the one you want.
