Fun to fly but has plenty of downfalls
I am a pretty decent flyer and I really like the idea of these small drones to fly indoors. Overall, the drone flies very well but does not fly for a long time if you fly in the fastest setting. I think I read a flight time of around 7-10 minutes but where I prefer the third setting (or expert) it seems to last less than 5 minutes. I like to rip it around the house but using it in FPV on the phone is almost impossible because the camera is pointed downward at about 30-45 degrees. So, when you pitch forward to accelerate, the camera will be pointed almost straight downward and you cant see anything but the floor. It also does not hover in place well at all so using this to take pictures would be rather pointless. Even calibrating at the beginning of flight and adjusting trim wont help much. I bought it specifically so I could fly around the house using FPV but now I don't even bother with the camera. To take good video you will want to be up at least 15 feet and that typically means flying outside. However, I would not recommend taking this outside in any sort of windy conditions or ever flying it above 30 feet. It is too light and would become almost impossible to control . There is also no manual control so the drone self hovers 100% of the time your left thumb is off the joystick (This is a really good feature for beginners). The stunt button is not always the most responsive and if you are flying indoors you will want to make sure the drone is NOT moving and 5 feet from any obstacles (in all directions) before performing a stunt. It will fly upwards a couple feet before performing the stunt and where it moves around a lot while self hovering, you can end up and extra foot higher in the air by the time you perform the stunt. It should also be noted there is a delay in when the stunt can be performed after pressing the stunt button. There will be a few short beeps and only then can you hit the joystick in the direction you want to make the stunt. Your drone may have increased its hover height by 1ft by that time.On a good note, I can say the drone is incredibly easy to fly as it always self hovers (again, doesn't stay in one spot) and is extremely responsive. I like to fly on the fastest setting and it's yaw and turning ability make it very easy to maneuver indoors in my living room which is a relatively small space (20 ft long x 14 ft wide x 11 ft tall).Hopefully this review helps, I am not trying to knock the device as you get what you pay for, however for anyone experienced, looking for a good FPV drone to be flown indoors and outdoors, I would recommend saving up and purchasing something closer to the $100 range. If the camera was not pointed downward I don't think I would even care about the other issues. It is just too difficult to find the proper camera angle when you have to hover the drone well above your head, try to cope with its inability to hover in place and look down to the phone to find the small camera button. By the time you finally do all of this and find the button and look up at the drone, you have probably missed your opportunity and will need to re-adjust. if you purchase this drone, do so for its flying ability, responsiveness and the fact that it comes with two batteries, not for its ability to take live photos and videos. Also, the downloadable app for FPV is in Chinese (I think). Maybe there is an American version I haven't found yet.

Bought for family to play with and try 'flying' - viewing software language change 'hidden'
Well the first thing that I can say is that this little toy can FLY! The instructions included as a quick start on the controller was a nice touch since everyone was so eager to get it in the air as soon as the package arrived!I set it up and hit the one-touch liftoff button and it went up and hovered which I thought was pretty dang cool. It did start going on it's own so I had to keep steering it to stay in one spot (after I read the manual there is a way to 'trim' that out so that it doesn't drift off on it's own.)After the little test flight and it wanting to just go on it's own I knew that this really isn't a good toy to learn to play with indoors. Luckily we have had pretty calm winds and we were able to get outside and fly it - we only ever had it on speed 1 (out of 3) and I can honestly say that I was quite surprised how quick this thing can fly - I can't imagine it on max speed! After running the batteries out we went inside to charge them and then I read the manual and figured out that if it drifts off you can push the buttons to get it to compensate and hold it's position better - once trimmed out it holds pretty well.We decided to download and try out the camera function - this is where I can say that it lacked a little - they really need to make it obvious where to go to change the language on the display software - you hit the button and it changes from Chinese to English - then it's actually pretty good - it's got a "simulator" built in so that you can virtually fly it.I recorded a few short videos and took a few pics but man I really can say that it takes some talent to be able to get what you want in the picture and fly the drone at the same time - all the videos looked like you gave a 2 year old a camera and they just randomly pointed at things... hopefully we can get better at flying to actually make some video that won't make you wonder what the camera person was thinking

My camera didn't work!!!
Bought it to my son, the drone itself is really good, small easy to control, very enjoyable to fly however the camera didn't work. The network that was supposed to show up on the phone to connect simply didn't show up. I tried several phone models and brands, Android and Apple and nothing. Tried to contact the support but never got a reply back. As I bought it abroad and took it to my country to give it to my son I was not able to return it. He still playing with the drone but without the camera unfortunately. If the camera were worked as expected it was a 5 stars with no doubt.

This is great fun
This arrived at the start of what was a long rainy weekend. We carefully unpacked the drone and examined the parts, put things together, charged the battery, and studied the instructions. Unfortunately, due to the wind and rain, we could not go outside to give it a try. Finally, on Sunday afternoon, the weather turned better and the sun finally came out from behind the clouds. We were ready to go.The children absolutely had a great time using the drone. They found it easy to maneuver and control, with no difficulties or crashes. The adults never had a chance to give it a try! The kids devised different maneuvering games and created some impressive flight paths.I was hesitant to get another drone because the kids had many problems with the last one and found it very frustrating. But, this was so much simpler to fly; stable and steady with no special skill needed.Highly recommend.
