sturdy garden stakes
I decided to try growing plants on my back patio this year. I bought a multi-pack of different kinds of vegetable seeds. They're growing better than expected, and the beans and peas are starting to send out tendrils. I wanted something for the tendrils to wrap around, so I bought these stakes. (Later on, when my tomato plants get bigger, I'll use these to support them, too.)I'm very happy with these. They're about 1/2 inch by 1 inch (guessing, didn't actually measure) by 3 feet long. The thickness means that they're not at all flimsy at any point along their length. The ends are pointed; I didn't have any trouble driving them into potting soil. If you're going to drive them into the ground, you may want to make the hole first, though. They do make my pots a bit top heavy, but that's not a flaw in the stake design -- I'm just using small pots. They're uniform in construction. Be careful handling them, though -- the wood is not sanded and there are a few splinters. If you're careful, you shouldn't have any problems. (Or wear gardening gloves to handle them.)All-in-all, I'm glad these are the stakes I purchased and I would gladly buy them again.

worked great!!
The Greenes Fence wooden garden stakes did the job. The stakes kept my tomatoes and eggplants upright. The plants did not tip over and the vegetables did not touch the soil. They did NOT rot like other wood stakes I have used in the past. The stakes were delivered in a timely matter. I am happy with my purchase.

Perfect for my project
These stakes arrived just in time to use in protecting my rose shrubs for the coming winter in Wisconsin. I used a mallet to pound them into the ground, about 4 around each shrub. I will then wrap burlap around the stakes and secure with a staple gun. The stakes were just the right size for my project and were an excellent quality wood.

Precisely milled, good value.
Theses stakes are really top quality for garden or other outdoor use. They are exceptionally straight cut. The wood has minimal blemishes and no voids. They are also super tight grained so they will withstand vigorous blows with a hammer if placing in more compacted soil.Perfect for fencing or plant staking. They are more than sturdy enough to staple or tack nail without splitting.Overall a top grade product for any outdoor use. Attractive and durable wood. Many possible application besides gardening such as lawn signs etc.

Perfect for my need
I used the posts to hold up temporary green wire fence around our screen house to keep our dogs from ripping its screen. Will take down once winter arrives. I like the posts because its safer for my dogs as they have hurt themselves on steel type posts. Works great for our particular need.

Great craft material
I will use these fence/garden stakes to make a 3 foot ladder to put seasonal items on. This one will have Valentine's Day items on it. I will put in on my porch and change it for the different holidays. (I may make a larger ladder later on but right now, I am playing and adjusting this one.) Since there were so many stakes, I will use them for other projects since they are very sturdy.

Great pine stakes
I've been using these stakes or marking grade for a few months and they are holding up better than expected. I would order 4-ft stakes if making a second order but I am happy with the durability having hammered stakes into hard clay soil multiple times with only a little checking at the top. I would recommend these for anyone other than a commercial excavation company.

Small and mighty!
These little stakes were much better than the thin wider ones! I needed small fence posts for a vegetable garden rabbit fence. They seem sturdy and were easy to sink into the garden bed. I attached wire fencing to them using zip ties and so far, so good!
