Very good detail
Book had enough detail to be able to do ties from pictures and written description. All photos were tastefully done.

Deserves way more love. Absolutely incredible.
Unfortunate that this book has only one other review with such a low rating. It really deserves more, especially since the low review was just from un-met expectations.Gestalta is one of the few creating incredible online content for us, and this book was a godsend for me. I’ve been tying about 6 months and absolutely love this book. Was very happy to have a refresher on some fundamentals as well as learn some new harnesses. The partial suspension section is amazing and offers a few transitions as well which has been really helpful in learning how to flow between them all or even go off the path and do my own thing. All in all, absolutely incredible. One of my favorite books. Deserves way way more love.Thank you Gestalta

Knots are best learned hands on and with practice
Alot of good information but nothing you can't find online.but if you are compleatly new to rope work it could be a good purchase.I would recoment finding a local group to learn and practice, but thats not always valibleBut overall a good book to have in your library for refernce .

If you know much about rope, this book won't help you much
This is a useful book for the brand spanking new rigger, that much is good. Covers basics such as negotiating, consent, nomenclature of rope itself, dangers of tying while drunk and other generally obvious information like not tying or suspending from the neck and head, importance of safety shears, etc. It's not until page 127 of the 163 book that you actually get to PARTIAL suspension with FULL suspension not being introduced until page 147 with only four different full suspensions discussed. So, if you're wanting a book on suspension, you need to keep looking. And I waited 8 months for it too...
