Inexpensive and effective
I used this heater to replace another that broke, but changed from a vented to a vent-free unit. It was going to cost me $3K to replace the former unit with one just like it. This fills the bill nicely for under $300. It heats an office that was a wood-shop, about 500 sf, within about 10 min. on a cold day. It's new so I don't know how mechanically reliable it will be, but so far after two weeks it's fine.

Easy to install.
All in all a good value and it does the job. My complaints...the fan sucks instead of blows. It does not have much air flow and its difficult to reach the on/off switch. And the fan's electrical cord could easily be another foot or so longer. So, pass on the fan and buy a small desk top type of unit and mount it to the wall.I am, at best, not much of a "do-it-yourselfer" and the install was surprisingly easy. I do recommend you buy the accessory kit that has the fitting, gas type tape and a gas connecter line, and the shut off value. $20.00, I think???I would buy it again.Bob

Don’t buy it’s a headache.
I paid for a heater with a blower and the blower was not included in package. Also electrical cord was miss ing that ties into the heater.Tried to return product and no one ever returned my call. I wouldn’t recommend.

Gas line hookup
Easy to finish assembly. Gas line is a real pain. Mine is 8' from the supply. but I can't buy an 8' gas line. Lots of plumbing problems to get it working. 3/8" supply, 3/8" gas valve. Longest 3/8" gas line I could find was 3'. Went to 1/2" for supply then reducing bushing to 3/8" According to chart on hose, a 3/8" 8' line won't carry proper btu. Mine is 30k btu. 1/2" will, but had to change the supply valve to 1/2". $80 so far, but should work properly. Good luck. Have installed ventless heaters and fireplaces, and they work great. Not legal in several States. Must be installed in open areas with enough air volume and air to work properly. Read and take seriously the parameters about all the requirements for a successful installation. Hope this helps you.
