Great console, great deal, great games
The PS4 is an awesome console, and still near its birth so they haven’t seen the full realization of what it can do yet. I will go over different aspects of the console and my thoughts on it.1. Set Up: This was one of the easiest set ups I have ever dealt with. It has built in wifi, so it’s basically just plug and play. When you first turn it on it has you choose your language/time zone/ etc. Then it ask if you are connecting to the internet by plugging in a Ethernet cable or wifi (I did wifi). It then shows all the wifi networks it found, has you type in your password (if your network is password protected), and then you’re into the PlayStation. At this point you can put in a game and start playing, you can connect to your PSN account, download the Netflix/Amazon prime/etc apps and start watching shows, etc.2. Playing a game: I got the bundle I am putting this review under, which came with GTA 5 and The Last of Us: remastered. So as soon as I plugged up the PlayStation, I put in GTA 5 and started playing that ( I will review the game in another section). Now, it did install the game, which took a good amount of time, but since then it loads real quick. One cool thing I discovered is that when you are in a game, or any app such as Netflix, you can push the home button on the control and are brought right back to the PlayStation home screen. Where you can do something else, then go straight back to the game where you were in a second. I used this to pause GTA and then start the download of the Netflix app, and go straight back into GTA right where I left off playing. All in all, this makes for a great experience, and after the initial time of installing the game, when you load it from then on, it is loaded in a few seconds at the most.3. Power saving mode: I have not heard anyone talk about this before, but to me this is a great feature. How it works, is that you can put your PlayStation into a power saving mode where you can’t do anything, but it will still download any downloads you are doing. For me this is great, because I can leave it on downloading a game while I am at work, without it uses its full power function, or turning itself off after so long of no use.4. GTA 5 gameplay: Now, as for the game it looks amazing on this console. I have GTA 5 for the Xbox 360, and wasn’t sure how much better they could really make the graphics because it already look amazing. However, it really does look a whole lot better on this console, as well as a lot of cool new features. I noticed a bunch of new cars, a lot more traffic/pedestrians/wildlife. One of the first missions I was walking down an alley when a cat walked by me! The first person shooter mode is amazing and brings a lot more fun to the game; however I personally find the first person driving to be too hard to use.All in all, this is a great system, and for getting GTA 5 and The Last of Us with it is a pretty good deal. I would recommend this to anyone.

Worth the Purchase (Former PS2 Owner to Xbox back to Sony Convert)
This is an awesome bundle. GTA 5 is a great game. The ability to download "The Last of Us" is convenient, but does take a bit to download from the store. I was able to begin playing GTA 5 after about 45 minute PS4 system update, then about a 45 minutes game install + 15 minutes update. I had some issues signing into my previously made PSN account, but after about 5 tries it worked. The inital setup is relatively painless.I really like the user interface on here as well. Switching from Xbox 360 I was worried there would be a learning curve as to where/how to locate certain settings or preferences. And although there is one, it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The controller feels nice. In game I keep accidentally hitting the touchpad and causing some issues with switiching weapons unintentionally, so I'm trying to correct that. All in all, I really am enjoying this purchase. If you get a this bundle or any PS4, automatically get or try a playstation plus account. The amount of free games and demo's you can get make it a worthwhile purchase. 2 full feature games free a month. And just from what I've gotten so far in the free games, "Apotheon" & "Transistor" have reafirmed in my opinion that Sony really does do a slightly better job with consoles than Microsoft. The games are, I feel, of better quality and more enjoyable than the last few months of free games from Xbox. They also have a discounts section on classic titles or bundled special edition titles. Before I owned an Xbox, I owned a PS2. I played a variety of games on that, that after realizing my time on Xbox, I didn't really play. Tenchu, Ace Combat and so forth. And it wasn't that they weren't available, but the community on them for Xbox was quite small compared to the Sony one. So in essence, you kind of had to go with the herd. Choosing Sony of Microsoft this time around has reminded me of why I am a Sony fan. Just the vast array of titles, styles, art and selection really has reminded me that Sony is a fantastic publisher and I'm really excited to see what all they have to come up with in the coming years.
