Hamilton Beach Easy Reach 4 Slice Countertop Toaster Oven

This oven is exactly what I need when I don't want to fire up my huge oven just to heat up English muffins. Easy to use, and the door mechanism is excellent. The door stays in place when open. Well made, looks great with my kitchen decor and takes up very little space. I love the "space pod" look, not boxy or bulky. Lots of baking/toasting/broiling options. Takes a little while to cool off so be careful if you have little ones or cats who like countertops. Makes no noise at all, just the tick tick of the timer and the little bell dings when done. I use oven mitts to open the door and tongs to retrieve my muffins and toast. Very happy with this as a senior 62 yrs. old and I feel very safe using it. Door comes off easily for inside cleaning and slides back in place with no effort. I am so glad I bought this. Very happy with it!

This toaster oven is better than a low end air fryer. Has a stay warm feature and the roll up door is a God send. It leaves room in front of unit to place food while prepping, and I can finally retrieve food with burning myself. I was worried about the interior height before, but no worries for anything no bigger than a cornish hen, which is perfect for me. Grills and toast perfectly, and the smaller size cooks up most things super fast!! No more lack luster air fryers. This functions like a high end toaster/convection oven. A definite 5 star BUY!!!

Works good but when you bake the baking pan warped in the middle of cooking. It also is not non-stick. Very difficult to clean baking pan. I was thinking to use tin foil. In the direction it says it might over heat the oven, so I don't use foil. Cleaning the glass is easy just open as normal and lift the handle straight up and it separate from the oven to clean. If you want to put back on slide it down in to the slots on both sides. It's a little bit hard at first but will be second nature after doing it a couple times. Other than that it's great. All the rest of it is good. Very happy I got it. Now I can toast four waffles at once. Make frozen pizza too.

I bought this toaster oven almost a year ago and I absolutely love it. It is by far better than using a regular toaster! The glass door opens so easily and allows you to actually watch as it cooks. That allows you to turn it off early if you have set the dial for too long for any item. I typically use it for toasting and love that I don't have to pop up the toasting item to check to see if it is going to burn or not. It is just as fast as a regular toaster and the sliding door allows easy access, so it is not easy to get burned. I've learned just how long each item needs to be set for excellent results. If you burn it it's going to be you causing it - not the toaster! The only downside to this product would be using it for items like pizza that set directly on the wire shelf. It would drip cheese onto the element just below the wire self and would not be an easy cleaning thing. I do use it for cooking small items or to heat things that I want to be crisp rather than heating in the microwave which tends to soften breads, etc. If you have been thinking about trying this product, you should definitely take the chance on using it. I will never go back to a regular toaster or a toaster oven that does not have the easy slide back door on it! I got it on an Amazon deal, but I would pay full price for it in a heartbeat! This particular model fits well on a countertop is a huge part of my daily use in my kitchen.

I gave one of these to a friend who’d moved into a small apartment. She loved it so much (even made biscuits with it!), that when I too moved to a small apartment, I got one for myself. I’ve been using it for three months. No regrets! Easy to keep clean, works great. Just read the instructions, if you toast less than 10 minutes you should turn the dial past 10 and then dial back under 10 to the level you want. Also, my English muffins and bagels seem to toast browner near the front than the back. Not a big deal for me, and the other features outweigh that one flaw. The way the top rotates back is just so good. So it sits near my counter edge (avoiding taking up unnecessary space). And lets me access the food really easily. I’m just so happy with it. I do recommend it and would buy it again. God bless!

Very fast heating and cooking. Toast settings are accurate, so you don't have to watch it. A chime lets you know when it is done. Best of all is the roll-top feature which makes it easy to see reheating progress and safer to remove hot food. There is no drop-down door in front of the toaster, which frees up counter space for your plate..

It's nice and strong but (subjectively) could use some changes. The design is a little dated or needs upgraded (like cars). The tray and rack could slide out. The fire hazard warning is disturbing as some reviewers have experienced damage. But my main issue is that they didn't go far enough on the inside configuration. There are 2 slots, which is good. But 1. they are too far apart to use both the bake tray and the rack simultaneously. An inch or so would allow to cook say, sausage patties and toast/warm bread or eng. muffins. And 2. the tray doesn't fit the slots - it can only lay atop the rack or as a drip pan. It's a low-quality pan, but could be another inch longer for bacon and reheating a hamburger or chicken patty and potatoes. On this model, the heating element is tiered vs. parallel like my previous Walmart oven. Will they consider changes from outsiders like you and me? I don't think most companies care about 5-10% of reviewers who leave 1-3 star reviews, either. How do so many products have mixed reviews? We could change things for the better, some of us. Edit 7/27:. The pan that sits on the rack (which would be more secure if held in the slots), warped while cooking sausage patties. I contacted them to see if they're aware of the issue. They wanted a photo, product and serial numbers which I sent. Concerned? No. Again, as I have stated elsewhere, companies who have made their millions, care little about customers who leave unfavorable reviews, helpful ideas or care about improving customer service. With the population flat or shrinking and fewer dollars available, it would be wise for businesses to listen to consumers. Now, the numerals are disappearing. Shop around! Edit 12.25: The paint has partially come off around the temperature dial. I will take a photo, send it to them and further respond. Quality control lags after businesses are established. Edit: 5/2023: The timer stops around 5-7 minutes so I can't leave the kitchen or must check often. HB won't send me another one because I purchased it "used" even though it was never plugged in; only labeled as such due to an open or slightly damaged outer box. Do companies really think Amazon would sell any item that was turned on, returned and resold? One would hope the company would want to inspect the item for itself.

Great quality, easy access, easy clean, heats very fast, can't say enough good about this oven. This is my second one. Had the first one about It5 years. It is used every day, at least 5 times a day, maybe more.

We were looking for a basic toaster oven that toasted well and basic bake. This is the best oven we’ve owned so far for toasting, tuna melts etc. Also good for basic baking. Pizza, baked potatoes turn out great. Easy reach feature is handy and door comes off for easy cleaning. Happy with our purchase so far.
