Sonix Brown Tort Case for iPhone XR Protective Tortoiseshell Leopard Case for Apple iPhone XR

This is advertised as military drop test certified and it’s clearly not. My phone was in this case, dropped from the bottom step of my stairs which is 6 inches from the ground and the back of the phone is completely shattered. Company is sending a replacement case but it doesn’t fix the $200-$400 worth of damage to the back of my phone which they should replace since they have falsely advertised it to be military drop test certified.

It’s always bittersweet when I have to say goodbye to my previous Sonix case. They are truly well made and has protected my phone from 2nd story drops (I have kids 🤣), daily “play catch with mommy’s phone” game and face up hulk smashes. I’ve always got compliments on how “perfect” my precious iPhones are when I trade them in considering the hell they go through. I bought this for my white iPhone XR and as always — it fits and protects my phone flawlessly.Of course, I just dropped my phone on my travertine floor as I’m writing this review and it is still 100% in tact. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 A MUST BUY!

I tried multiple cases for my new iPhone XR and none of them fit properly. I have used Sonix cases on previous phones & always loved them so I looked for a pattern I liked. I’ve always loved their tortoise shell case but they don’t sell it for this phone on their website. I was SO excited to find it on Amazon. It fits amazingly well & it’s very secure. It’s a thin case so your phone doesn’t get bulky and it protects all the import parts like the camera and screen. The back is patent but doesn’t scratch easily. The print is very classic and goes with everything. I’m very happy with my case & will continue to be a Sonix fan forever.

Given the price and quality, it’s pretty good. I’ve been comparing with with a few cases that my family has and this one definitely is up there in terms of bang for buck.The screen protector was difficult to use for me, but I eventually figured it out and they were able to send a replacement when I emailed them. Support took some time to respond but they eventually did. It was the holidays so it was definitely understandable.Outside of that, the case is a bit slippery. I haven’t had issues with it but others might. My friend always drops his cases so he finds this case a bit too slippery. He got a very grippy case as a resultHaven’t dropped my phone a ton but so far it’s held up with the few drops that I have had with it. The drops have all been on wood or carpet. Never concrete. Not so much as even a tiny scratch or dent.The back of the case is clear and does finger print easily thoughAll in all, a good choice for value

I normally don’t keep up reviews unless the product really stands out. So at first immediately loved this case, it’s exactly as pictured. I was not expecting this case to be as protective as it is though! So I have an Ibizan hound mix, adopted outside of the USA. They are a breed of hunting dog, are immensely fast, and mine in particular is easily spooked. Long story short, we were on a RUN and about a mile down I notice my phone is missing! It flew out of my jacket pocket and into the road. We ran back and my phone didn’t even have a scratch on the case, NOTHING. I only use a cheap glass stick on screen protector, nothing fancy. I couldn’t believe it.So with that said, I absolutely recommend this case for someone who wants style and TRUE durability. There is nothing wrong with this case at all, 10/10!!

I bought this case based on the reviews and their lifetime warranty. My case was ripped apart and I contacted them. They asked me to send them a picture of broken case, which I did. Then, they asked me to send a broken case by mail. I have to pay for shipping and handling. Why would someone pay postage to return broken case instead of using that money to buy a new case from other vendor?DON'T FALL FOR LIFETIME WARRANTY HERE!!!!!

I ordered this when I got my new red XR and the cases from casery were expensive in comparison which is what I had for years on my old iPhone 7.I loved this case at first. it didn’t get that dingy yellow most cheaper clear ones do over time. I ordered this case in March 2019 it is now January 2020 and is in two pieces. I have needed a new case for awhile now but this was the final leg where the ring that covers the side of the phone has separated from the clear backing hard piece.If I could give 0 stars for durability I would. I do not recommend this case to any one.it’s not because I was being rough with the case / phone either. I normally keep my phone in the soft lined pocket on my purse that is meant for phones, I have the safety glass for the screen and I haven’t dropped it ever in that case. I am very delicate and careful with my devices so it’s upsetting the thing I buy to protect it doesn’t last. I have now ponied up the $35 for my case from casery that I should have just bought the first time.One positive is the glass that came with the case is pretty good and easy to put on. I normally by intelliGlass or the Anker glass for screen protection across all my devices. I just hope a day doesn’t come where I find the glass the case was sold with was made with the same quality.

I love this case. The floral design is really pretty. The sides are matte, so easy to hold and grip without feeling like it's going to fall out of your hand. The buttons work really well. With some other cases, the buttons are really hard to press. It's very nice quality and protects my camera lens and screen with enough of an overlap. (I've also gotten cases where the front of the case doesn't really protect your screen if you place it face down on a surface.) This is a great case! It's worth paying a little more for the quality.

Loooove this phone case! Only issue was it didn’t come with the glass protector like some said it did. I emailed the seller they said that was for a 2018 promo and gave me an $8 refund because the only reason I bought this case was for the glass protector. I do love the case I’m so happy and it’s very strong and cute

Super cute phone case- looks great with my white iPhone. I wish I had bought this before I purchased my screen protector separately because it comes with its own glass protector!I have been using sonix cases for years (this is probably my fourth) and I have never had a broken screen yet!

Tenía mucho tiempo que la había visto directo de Sonix, sin embargo no soy compradora compulsiva y espere hasta que necesitara un case.Para mi fortuna Amazon tenía un muy buen precio al que vi hace años directo en Sonix y siendo producto de importación.La calidad y print están top notch. La recomiendo mucho.

Buttons aren’t stiff in the case which I love and it’s really sturdy I’ve had two Sonix cases and they hold up so well and that’s saying something because I’m quite clumsy

This seems like a very good quality case. The screen protector that came with it was damaged but the case itself was good. This is a pretty bulky case and makes the phone seem huge, but I’m sure it will protect the phone when dropped
