First time ever using a rotary tool, first time ever engraving on wood. This tool is epic! Easy to use and assemble. I used it 3 hours straight, comfy, doesn't get hot, isn't heavy... Just felt like I was using an unusual pen. I even bought the tack life accessories 258pcs - awesome bits for engraving. I thought my box turned out well! Very quiet too, thought it'd be super noisy, was enjoying the radio whilst doing my project. Engraved all this on number 2 power option. Breezed through it! Probably going to buy a few more of these as gifts! Tacklife is a brand I hadnt heard of before and I was going to buy a Dremel - i say save your money on the flash harry tools and buy this, looks and feels more expensive - well made! Can see this lasting years!

My first rotary tool and already loving it. I got it for leathercrafts and small repairs in the house. I didn't regret choosing this brand/model instead of a dremel tool. Time will tell if it will last long but for now, I'm totally happy!

Ace bit of kit decided to upgrade from my old engraving dremel to one with a flexible shaft. And I can say I am very happy especially for the price. half the price of my old one and performs Twice as good. No more over heating or changing gears by itself half way through sanding or engraving

I've not used this a great deal yet but so far I like it.Very easy to control compared to a die grinder and the extension is almost like using a pencil.Build seems good and is good value.

I brought this the other day to help me with a few jobs around the house and I'm really impressed with it so far! Works exactly as I wanted it to, really easy to set up, and with the instructions it's easy to find the correct speeds for each job I need to do!I brought this because it's price vs what it comes with seemed a complete bargain and I'm not disappointed. The extension cable is one of the main bonuses for me. I am able to put the main drill down, attached the cable and just use that rather than holding the bulkier unit making it easier to get more precision. The carry case is also useful as it stores the main drill, extension cable, and tool bits all in a nice compact case that can be stored away easily!Another bonus was the inclusion of the tool bits, meaning I could start some DIY projects without having to spend more time or money on buying additional bits which is nice!All in all, I would recommend this as it’s very easy to use, cost effective, and seems to be a good build quality.

I have only given one star for sturdiness just because I can’t tell if it will withstand the process of handcrafting Christmas ornaments until the festive period. It looks good and solid, accessories great and good range of different options. Only thing that could make it better would be a link to video instructions or more detailed information on booklet. I looked up on YouTube and I’m thinking of making a short instructional video for women (and men) who do arts and crafts, in particular women as you need a steady hand to hold tool and change accessories. Having said that it is light and manageable.

Extremely pleased with this purchase! The tool comes in a nice hard carrying case with lots of different attachments. I bought this one for woodworking and so far it works great! I haven’t tried all of the attachments but the sanders and cutters work really well on soft wood. Love that this comes with the smaller extension because it gives me much more control when I’m carving finer details.

Had to return this after only two uses because the motor started making an incredibly loud noise like it’s straining, and whilst using the wire brush attachment small fragments of wire kept flying off at high speed - good job I had my glasses on! The device itself is very bulky as a hand-held device so best to use the flexible attachment, although it’s not always practical to use this. Not at all happy with this device - I obviously made the wrong choice and will look elsewhere.
