Due to the boldness of the colors of some tattoos, you may need to apply a second cover over the first. Once applied, the cover(s) should last for a couple days. It will appear shiny and sometimes “cracky” at first but that will go away over the first Day and will blend in more and cover better over time. The cover(s) will look and feel more like your skin by the second day. If your tattoo is in a “high skin movement area”, apply cover while skin is in a stretched position to help lessen this effect. If there is hair on the tattoo skin area, shaving the application area may help lessen cracking also. Please make sure your skin is Clean, Cool, Dry and in a stretched position (but not to stretched) when you apply the cover(s). Then make sure you leave it alone for the first few hours, so it has time to cure. After that it should be very hard to get off. If it cracks, don't worry, it looks much better after a while and gets even better by the next day as the ink sets in. These covers are not meant to be a perfect match to all skin tones and types. They are an easy and convenient way to cover your tattoos with no mess or hassle. They are both waterproof and comfortable. If you need them to blend in better with your skin tone because you are using them for a special occasion, several of our customers have used foundation over the cover to make it match their skin better. This also gives a smoother appearance and covers any cracking. Also, they become more natural and darker looking over time, so after 24 hours they look more like skin and 2 layers is darker than one.

These covers work just like a temporary tattoo
These covers work just like a temporary tattoo. It took a few tries to figure out which skin tone would work best. I use on my lower leg underneath pantyhose and my tattoo is virtually invisible. There is a bit of a shine to the finish, but after a shower or two, its becomes more matte. With two layers, I get just under two weeks of coverage. I find that the finished look is better if you cut the cover to the shape of your tattoo. I do wish there were sampler sets that had maybe three similar skin tones instead of all of them as well as various sizes. I am satisfied with my purchse, and will continue to buy more.

Great for covering tattoos while at work!
I work at a place where u can not have any tattoos exposed. I have a tattoo on my neck that is visible even with a collared shirt. This product matches my skin perfectly n blends even if I'm sweating or wearing makeup. It's easy on n easy off. I have even gotten 3 days out if one use before. Area must b cleaned n dry n hairless. I also love the price very reasonable compared to others.

Not worth the price
I followed the directions to the letter and the cover immediately cracked and looked leathery, like a badly peeling sunburn. I am a senior level nursing student who needed a reliable and simple way to hide 2 3x3" nautical star wrist tattoos. I applied 2 layers and the tattoos showed easily through. My suggestion is that the company make a thicker cover that offers some sort of stretch, less cracking. I don't mind that the color of the cover isn't the exact same as my skin tone, but I was expecting far better coverage. Bummer. I had to resort to wearing flesh-toned band-aids to clinical, looking like a wrist-cutter case to my patients. Hey, my fault for getting tattoos in such an obvious place, but these covers really failed me.
