I loved these as a kid and now my youngest can't wait to read more about Junie B. 💜

I’m so happy Junie B. Jones is making a comeback—this book is a classic! The girls absolutely love it and can’t stop giggling at all of Junie’s wild little thoughts (and, of course, the “stupid smelly bus”). It’s such a fun way to get them actually excited about reading. The story is silly and relatable, and Junie’s personality jumps off the page. If you’re trying to get young readers hooked on books, this one’s a no-brainer. Total win in our house!

My 8yo loves Junie B!

Love me some junie B! That being said like others have mentioned she’s a little harsh with her language sometimes. Even with stupid in the title I was fully prepared to change some words while reading it to my 4yo so it really doesn’t bother me.

I like the book a lot. I love this book because Junie B. is sassy. She is cute and funny.

I bought this for my 5-year-old grandson, and he loves it!

My youngest read the book in two days

To my thinking it shows a Doll, Book in a complete pkg. All that was sent was one open, paperback book. No Doll, no unopened pkg. I feel it was misrepresented. I have been a customer for a long time & I would like Amazon to get in touch with me & help to straighten this out. I tried to reach you by following your instructions, & could not get it to go through. I am fine ordering merchandise, but when something is wrong, you are unreachable. I would like to discuss this with a real live humanbeing, not a recorded message. I hkave two kindles & would like to continue to be your customer, but if this is not taken care of, I will be unsure if something goes wrong again it will be handled. Shirley B. Junie B Jones books are classics and so much fun to read with my 5 year old who is just getting into chapter book format.

Jones は、ちょっと自己主張の強い６歳の女の子。幼稚園の年長さんです。さあ、今日から幼稚園。Junie B. は、初めてあの黄色いスクールバスに乗ります。でも、気持ちが悪くなって・・・。「もう、あんな臭い黄色いバスは大嫌い!」。帰りのバスに乗りたくない Junie B. がとった行動とは、はたして。 6 才の女の子 Junie B. が語る形式で書いてあるので、単語がやさしく、短い文が多いです。たまに、学校で習わないような単語や子供ことばも出てきますが意味はだいたいわかります。ただ、たぶん Junie B. の口癖だと思うのですが、"Guess what?" や "'Cause" がたくさん出てきてまじめに読んでいると、最初は戸惑います。でも、合いの手みたいなものですから、慣れてくれば支障にはなりません。ページ数は60ページほど、語数も6000語ぐらいなので、児童向けシリーズものとしては平均的です。児童向けシリーズものの入門用シリーズにお薦めです。 (YL 3.5, 6,640 words)

内容は結構楽しめるし、とても読みやすいのですが、子供(主人公は6歳)の発言であることを表現するために、意図的な英語の間違いが多数散りばめられています。 英語学習目的には向いていません。
