Regatta Women's Sherlyn Waterproof and Thermoguard Insulated Faux Fur Hooded Jacket

I got this coat to wear in Iceland and it was a godsend! It was frequently -12°c and I was snuggly warm wearing this coat, I didn’t even need to wear all the layers I thought I would need to. I experienced heavy snowfall and lots of waterfall splash back and can confirm it’s waterproof. I can’t comment on size as I got one several sizes too big so I could wear layers under, but any curvy ladies would have no problems with this coat, loads of hip room. The coat can also be unzipped from the bottom which is handy for sitting down. Would definitely recommend!

When coat arrived it had been flattened and was as stiff as a board initially. It took many weeks of wear to soften. Hood is a good fit and I had to order a larger size as my ideal size would not accommodate a chunky jumper worn under coat. Lovely colour but unfortunately I have found the pockets are not waterproof, so you can't put anything of value there. I was disappointed with the thickness of the coat. Not warm enough to wear in winter without a fleece or jumper underneath.

I absolutely love this coat!! It looks like a far more expensive coat with some very nice details. And having tested it now for a few weeks of Scottish winter, which for those who don't know, is very windy and very wet this coat has kept me warm and dry. It's like wearing a fitted duvet! But water proof. Brilliant!

Lovely jacket I have it in another colour from last year, ordered same size after trying older one on so was surprised when it came that it is slightly smaller than last years jacket, so latex them on top of each other and yes a good 2 inch difference at the sides when laid flat, so wondering if they are made in a different place or does it depend on who cuts the material? So I would say maybe don’t just go on the size given, double check first. Otherwise lovely and love the mustard colour last years, Teal green.

It's warm and stylish. I love the feel of this coat, the colour and the fit. However, the water-proof nature means you do feel yourself getting steamy inside it, unlike regular wool coats.The bottom fastening of the zip feels like it could rip at any moment and I'd have to replace the whole zip then. It's quite fiddly at the bottom to get the zip to attach too. I'm also not a fan of velcro, it damages any nice quality scarf and I don't understand its use in higher quality coats.

I love this coat, delivered on time, it’s a great quality coat, Iv worn it a lot since buying it & it keeps me really toastie & dry when it’s rained, a great coat for the winter months I highly recommend it

Very practical warm, waterproof coat. Pockets are really good for carrying phone etc, but you can also keep your hands warm with the side pocket. The zip with 2 fasteners (allowing one to loosen the bottom of the coat when driving, for example) is really helpful, though a tad awkward to use at times. First class coat!

My new coat arrived today so I decided to take it for a test drive along the sea front. Can confirm that it is toasty warm, wind proof, rain proof and that the hood stays up even when walking against the prevailing icy tempest. Just a pity it makes me look like a big puffy brick!
