Better than a traditional nail file
This little thing has officially become part of my toe maintenance routine every two and a half weeks. I originally bought it because one of my toenails got infected and ended up super thick and refused to grow properly. After using some ointment along with this drill to carefully file down the thickness, it's actually grown back a ton! Safe to say this little gadget has earned its spot in my bathroom drawer. I also love that it comes with a bunch of different drill bits for different jobs. My absolute favorite is the skinny drill attachment because it gets underneath the corners of the nail so easily without me feeling like I'm performing surgery with a regular nail file. Being able to adjust both the speed and the direction is another huge plus. Whether you want to take your time or channel your inner professional nail tech, it's got you covered. Overall, it's easy to use, does exactly what I need it to do, and has made dealing with my stubborn toenail way less of a hassle.

Love it
I really like this drill. Just like the majority of you on here I bet you are comparing and contrasting every drill on Amazon. I bought this one first and I'm so happy with it. I have not had any problems like anybody else has mentioned but I obviously take care of my product and I take care of my cord. I like this drill because I can use it with my dust collector in bed. I can move it to another room. I can take it anywhere with me and it still works amazing. It's easy to hold and lightweight. I don't want to lose quality or performance just because something is portable or cheaper. Now, I did also buy the MelodySusie 30000 rpm Professional Nail Drill-Scarlet after this one just to compare and contrast. I figured that if I loved the pink one so much that the scarlet version was going to be even better. I love that one too and I do feel like that one is a little bit stronger. But it's not at all portable. It has to be on a table and it has the rounded spiral cord. So I can only use the scarlet drill if I'm sitting at a table desk or chair. But I can use this pink drill anywhere I want and it does just as good of a job. I don't even think one is necessarily worth it over the other... possibly the Scarlet one would hold up better if you are doing clients so that's the only thing I would take into account. But if this is for personal or family use I still will say I don't necessarily think one is better than the other. The only thing about this product that does bother me is that the whole on top for the bits. I don't like that it doesn't unlock and lock because I feel like over time eventually that whole on top is going to get loose. I'm not sure what is holding the bits in place when you push them down but they are held very good. I've never had a problem with it. But I do wonder how that is going to last over time. All in all this is worth it and I really am enjoying the melody Susie products. I did buy the better bits to go with this. I bought the Melody Suzie gold ones. I was so scared by people saying these died on them by the third time or it stopped working after a month. I literally went through every drill on Amazon and read every single review. I even did some outside research on YouTube and other channels. So not only did I love this drill but I loved it so much and trust this company now to buy a second one. When I had an issue with a set of bits that I bought they went actually beyond what I was expecting them to help me with. I'm mean I hope that let's say 6 months down the road if there's a problem with the drill that Melody Suzie would try and help me. You never really know. I would just register your product with them online or if yours comes with a warranty postcard (You know, those little tiny pieces of paper that we're supposed to mail back but we never do. I even think I threw mine away.) All I can say is they actually went beyond what I was expecting when they helped me with the bits I didn't like. I can't promise you they would do the same with the you and the drills but all I can tell you is both of my drills are working amazing. I have used them every single day for probably 3 hours a day on and off. I am quarantined so I have nothing better to do than to practice nails. Looking back I wasted a lot of my time reading every review and trying to hopefully get something that worked (and wasn't terrible like a Walmart nail drill). It's always those five bad reviews that scare the crap out of you. And again, I want to make sure that I say you have to have good bits. I do not use the bits that come with the product. I use the sanding one only. I did use the bits that came with it first and they got the job done but I don't think they're good. Get another set of bits from Melody Susie All of them I think are under 15 or 20 bucks and they will last you a long time. They have ceramic and titanium I think. If either of my drills have an issue or something happens you can trust that I would come back here and update my review. Right now I am telling you that you can stop reading all the reviews and just get this drill (or the big silver slightly stronger one if you want). And if you're reading this later down the line and I haven't updated this, then they are still working great.

Wonderful at first disappointing doesnt work. Powerful
Ok this is the second drill I have purchased and now I'm a bit upset. I thought this was the verybest drill at first. I was so pleased but let me tell you why I fint feel this way Actually if you buy the nail drills st walgreens they are terrible so this one is 5 stars comparison but i bought this pink first one in april and had for 2months then it started overheating. It got so hot even when it wasnt working I had ordered another because mine started sticking and stopped rotating around and overheated just stopped working. The price was so reasonable and I was in a hurry to have my nails finished so I just bought another. Well now its another 2 months and it's starting to stick and it just got very hot. I had given this drill 5stars because it's so very easy to use. It comes with attachments and its powerful but now it wont work and had started sticking in place , its stopped with quality of spin and has lost its power . I'm hoping they will send me a other drill because I wish I could give it 5 stars but now I have 2 drills that do bot work and the drill is only 2 months old. I hope the company will make this up to me as I want to rate this drill well but if it wont work then I will have to. Change my rating .

Easy to use, slim, has some power
Ordered April 22 2019. I love the fact that this file was very slim. It fit in my hand very comfortably. There were two speeds which were sufficient for my beginner needs. It also had a switch that you could rotate the head in the opposite direction. So if you were left-handed that comes in handy, or if you turn your nails towards you and want to bring it down instead of going up then you can just simply reverse the direction of the drill. Took me a minute to figure out why they needed to do that but once I got it oh, it was wonderful. I just received this yesterday I used it to take acrylic off and it worked just fine. As a matter of fact I had to be careful that I didn't go down too far. So then I switched to soaking them a little bit and acetone first then using the drill took no time at all to remove the acetone. It was also good for filing down my nails cuz because I wanted them shorter. It comes with so many different interchangeable heads till I can't imagine I would ever need anything else! It has a lot a whole lot of the regular file type tips. I think they will last me for years! The instructions are very simple and very clear. Explain what each of the tips are used for and I think that's pretty much all you need other than how to cut it on and off which is very simple. I think the only thing I personally would have changed and this could just be me, is that the reverse switch and the switch to make it more powerful it's not on the wand itself. It's further down the cord. So if you doing your nails you actually to stop re-adjust and then go back to finish up. When you're doing that several times Purnell to change a direction or speed it can be somewhat tedious. But other than that right out of the box work fine I used it, and then about five or six hours later I came back to do my other hand. Because after I took off my acrylic I put on some gel that I just bought and we'll be writing about that. All in all a wonderful tool. I'm actually thinking about purchasing another one for my daughter. But we shall see. I read other you saying that after so many uses it kind of stopped working. So I'll leave you again later. But I also believe that this is a slightly different model, that they've upgraded it if you read in the directions below the item it indicates some changes. And also if you scroll through the pictures there's a code to get extra of the little file tips and on there it kind of indicates that this is an updated version. I would absolutely order this again Edit. 2 2021 it stopped working. Had to kind of hold it in one position to use, then stopped totally. For $20 and two years of use by two people, not too shabby. I was in process of ordering another, when I saw I had never submitted the original review!!! Oopsie.

Perfect little kit
My only complaint would be is that it is not battery operated and portable. It has to be plugged in, but other than that I’m very pleased with this. I like that there is an adjustable speed knob. And all the attachments are perfect for all the different things. Definitely feels heavy duty and not cheaply made. I do wish the cord was a little bit longer, so I don’t have to sit 5 feet away from an outlet, but it is what it is. And all the extra sanding bits is a huge plus.

The drill was fine until.....
I'm disappointed because I purchased this drill in August and now here it is November and I'm back on Amazon looking to purchase a different drill. The drill was fine when I first got it. Because at the time I was fairly new at doing my own nails I was using it at least once a week the first month then every other week after that. Now I'm at the point where I do my nails every three weeks and this time around I noticed that my drill is making this loud noise when I increase speed as if something on the inside is broken and the speed is not as fast as it was when I first used it. I haven't dropped it, I store it in the same spot which is the original box. I would hate to be in the middle of doing my nails and then all of a sudden my drill stops working. 3 stars because I didn't pay much for it, I've seen cheaper working and looking nail drills for way more than what I paid for this drill. Plus I like MelodySusie for right now.

Works like a dream
I got this hand file 6 years and it works like the first day I bought it!!! I'd highly recommend this for beginners and advanced nail technicians.

Salon-Quality Nails at Home – So Easy to Use! 💅✨
As an Amazon influencer and busy mom, I’m always looking for tools that save me time and money — and this MelodySusie pen-shaped nail drill seriously delivers. 🙌 First off, the pen design makes it super comfortable to hold and easy to control, even if you’re not a pro. It’s lightweight but powerful enough to remove gel polish, shape acrylics, clean up cuticles, and smooth everything out without feeling bulky or intimidating. I love that it runs smoothly with low vibration, so it doesn’t feel harsh on my nails. The speed control is perfect — you can start slow if you’re new and build up as you get more confident. It’s also compact enough to store easily or take with you if you travel. Why I recommend it: ✔️ Great for beginners and at-home users ✔️ Saves salon trips (hello, money saved 💸) ✔️ Compact, lightweight, and easy to handle ✔️ Powerful but gentle ✔️ Perfect for gel removal and shaping If you’ve been wanting to start doing your nails at home, this is such a good starter drill without spending a fortune. Highly recommend! 💗

Excelente producto para el cuidado de las uñas
Me resultó de gran utilidad este taladrito que tiene varias fresas y lijas para limar las uñas normales y rebajar las que están engrosadas por lesiones o por algún traumatismo.
