Samsung NE58F9500SS Slide-in Electric Range

Ordered in November from Lowes and still had nit recieved as of February so I checked on line at Amazon and ordered recieved in less than 2 weeks! Now I have my new granite countertops installed and is gorgeous. Kitchen completed. Stove is amazing! Thank YOU. Amazon ☺

This Samsung slide in electric range was purchased for our kitchen update in 2015. There are several frustrating things about it. The loud fan/blower activates automatically during any use of the burners AND the oven. I blows loudly for WAY TOO long even after the appliance has been in use. Another irritation in the design is that the timer and the oven on/off pads are so close it is very easy to turn off the oven in the process of turning off the alarm resulting in a delay of getting the cooking done AND ruining some items completely. The timer alarm is a very annoying sound. The sides of the cooktop where it overlaps the counter are lacking any safeguard for overspill that runs off the side of the ceramic top.The worst yet: I set the self clean option on the oven and afterward the oven would not open or work. The only capability left was the stove top function. The oven would have been hundreds of dollars to fix. I hated this appliance SOOOO much that I was happy I HAD to replace. (It was only 6 years old)We purchased an LG Slide in electric range and have been 100% happy with it. Much better functionality.NO annoying features. It actually has pleasant alarms and is better ALL around. And came with a rubber trim along the sides so liquids would not run down the side of the oven if they over flow. I am so happy to have replaced the Samsung.

The range is fine... however, when I placed an order, I typed in and ordered a 36 inch electric range... but the 29.9 inch range arrived instead. Since I can not return it, I am stuck with it. now I have a 6 inch gap between my kitchen counters and I need to spend more money on granite and cabinetry fillers.Needless to say, I am not happy.

This range is gorgeous and performs well beyond my expectations! I love the option to choose convection oven or standard bake. The manual that came with it was not extremely helpful, especially on how to correctly operate the probe. Also, I wish that Samsung made it easier to order the back gap kit for replacing a standard range with a slide in. Mine didn't come with it and it's been problematic to order one. BUT... the range itself is amazing. I love it!

Love this range! I cook professionally this range has all the benefits for a electric range I need at home.. The look and style are great.....

Glass top has 5 years warranty which Samsung offer but doesn't honor. My glass cook top developed cracks due to material defects. When contacted their support the refused to repair the range saying damage to glass is not covered. If cracks in glass are not covered then what else is covered for the glass.I purchased Samsung brand thinking that they will stand behind their warranty but they failed to do that.

This is a beautiful stove but beware of the range knobs. The knobs are at adult hip height and turn on with the slightest contact -- a simple brush against the stove and a burner turns on. For us this resulted in a kitchen fire. After this happened and we needed to replace the stove due to damage to the ceramic top, we tested other stoves and have yet to find any that have knobs this sensitive -- this is a serious issue that Samsung needs to address. There are other reviews online that speak to the same issue, just sorry we didn't read them before purchasing this stove. Also understand that some manufacturers have retrofit kits to fix this issue, however Samsung does not have anything like this available.

Great stove. Have used every function and have no complaints. So much better than the GE which will go to the cabin. I wanted front controls and they are very easy to use. It came well packaged right to our door. So glad we bought it.
