Having ordered this binder twice (June 2019, January 2017) and found it to have extremely poor workmanship, when it came time to get another I ordered 2, expecting bad quality and hoping at least one would be usable. Previously I returned and reordered, once in June, and twice in January 2017, just to end up with a binder that was slightly better but not perfect binder. Much to my surprise, in this current order both binders were perfect: no ripples or tears. Maybe Avery now has a different vendor and from here on out the quality will be what I expected when I placed my first order back in 2017.Previous Review:I love the features of this wide binder (D rings, 2 pockets inside both covers, plastic slots to put my own title sheets on the cover and spine. But the binder is very poorly made. The plastic cover is rippled all over, especially around the bolt that attaches the metal rings to the cover, where the plastic is very puffy. I feel the quality is very poor and I expect the binder won't hold up. I ordered a replacement, but I'm only half expecting it to be better.UPDATE: I've reordered this twice, and have lowered my rating from 3 to 2 (one point for the size, one point for the great features). The second binder I received was actually wrapped in plastic (the first one was not wrapped) and was slightly better than the first -- but it had a tiny tear near the top of the spine and sticky residue on the back. Since I hadn't yet returned the first binder, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying again. (Thanks to our Prime membership two day shipping and return shipping are free.) The third binder I received was not plastic wrapped (somebody else's return?) and was almost as bad as the first -- a lot of rippling plus, at the top of the spine, the plastic is mangled.My husband says to buy something better. I'm planning on using it for recipes stored in sheet protectors and separated by wide dividers, so I wanted the wide binder, but there are very few extra wide binders available, especially the one-inch size. The one I found on Amazon Cardinal Premier Easy Open ClearVue Extra Wide Locking Slant-D Ring Binder, 1-Inch, White (13300), is almost 3 times the price of the Avery, so I'm just going to deal with the second Avery binder I received and hope I don't have to replace it too soon. If anyone has tried the Cardinal, I'd love to hear how the quality of this one is.In conclusion, if you aren't too fussy about quality, this binder would be good because of its great features.

I had to replace a very old one that was literally falling apart. This worked perfectly. I love the D ring. Also like that I can insert a title page and edge title too. Works great on a bookshelf

These are nice heavy duty binders and great if you don't mind really large binders. I wanted to use them for recipe binders with full-size sheet protectors and extra wide divider tabs that extend past the protectors. These are definitely large enough to hold the extra wide dividers as advertised. However, they are even wider than they need to be for that purpose, and having the D shaped rings makes them even wider. So, when I open the binder up on my kitchen counter, it takes up a ton of space and just seem too large and bulky for easy, everyday use. I am going ahead and trying standard sized binders for my recipes even though the divider tabs extend past the binder. Sigh. Seems nobody makes a nice binder for the extra wide divider tabs.

I purchased this finder, because I was looking for one that would accommodate sheet protectors and dividers that were wider than them. Helped me create a really neat cookbook for a friend.

Check the dimensions - it runs larger than most notebooks to accommodate the larger ring sizes. You'll need a deep shelf to hold it. Good quality. The rings seem sturdy and have a straight edge so that the pages lie one atop the other rather than at a curve.

I got this to hold a bunch of papers all in clear sleeves, with divider sleeves which naturally protrude more than normal dividers (so they can be seen), and I didn't want the tabs to be sticking out. It's also very deep which I needed, so for that it's perfect.Note: all of the above makes it exactly what I needed and wanted, but it's much bigger than a normal binder so something to keep in mind.

La verdad nada súper wow de esta carpeta, yo sabia lo que compraba, no es mi primera carpeta de este estilo. Me encanta que se abre fácil, el único detalle seria que cuando la cierra, la tienes que alinear porque si quedan un poco disparejos los anillos.

Great binders. Using these binders for Ancestry unfortunately the WHITE discoloured. I would not suggest buying white. I had wanted black but at the time they were not available.

Well made, sturdy folder, but not tall enough. It is extra wide as described, but if you want to use plastic sleeves, it is way too short. See photos. Sleeves stick out above top of folder. It won't work for what I bought it for, don't see how it would be of any use at all. Only just fits an A4 sheet . Didn't consider that it could be so short. Have photographed it next to a regular size folder.Have just discovered that these folders are American sized. Apparently instead of A4 paper their standard paper is called letter paper, which is wider and shorter than A4 paper. Wish that was highlighted in the product description, especially as it comes from Amazon Australia. Would never have ordered if I had known.
