High quality product, the gear arrived before promised. This gear was used by me to repair an old Southbend lathe cone gear assembly in the quick change gearbox that drives the feed screw. The material was easily machined to thickness, bore diameter, and key way dimensions needed for my application. Also came with spec sheet and notes stating that it could be hardened if needed.

I wont give it only one star because it is a good product but as the other reviews state there is no keyway as pictured. I saw those reviews and ordered it anyway hoping theirs were a fluke but nope! I am going to try to weld it to the shaft and hope there isnt too much runout. Its just for a go kart not the space shuttle so here i go !

This gear mated perfectly with the ring gear on a flywheel for use in a DIY project. The bore fits a 5/8" threaded rod with a little play. I added a set screw into the shank of the gear to use it for driving the ring gear rather than clamping the gear on the shaft.

This gear does not have a keyed hole. The cost to have it machined is almost as much as the product itself. A clear misrepresentation of the product.

Again, this item was requested by my husband. Have no idea what it was used for. He loves to build and invent and when he says he needs these things I have him bring the items up and I order them.

Accurately machined. Worked well meshing with other gears.

not as shone no set screw no key way i looked for a bigger bore it thought the bore would be 1.167 but it is half the size
