Makes Great Food
I bought this Sous Vide to replace my Anova, which broke while it was cooking egg bites. As of this writing, I have used this device four times, and so far, I am very pleased. I like the fact that it comes in a very nice case to keep all components organized and protected. It has a more powerful motor than my previous one, and heats water faster. I suggest, filling your vessel with hot water to lessen the time it takes to get the water to your desired temperature. This Sous Vide is not as fancy as my Anova, in that it does not have Wifi or Bluetooth connectivity, as well as an associated app, but that was not all too important to me. You can always look up recipes on line. One thing that I liked better about my previous device is the ease of setting the temperature, as it had a turn wheel. On this model, you have to push a button, which, if you don't press it dead on, can be a bit fussy. I have noticed a slight temperature swing of +/- 1 or2 degrees as stated in previous reviews, but it always gets back to the set temperature. I have not noticed a difference in my food. Poached eggs come out perfectly, and this Sous Vide can give you restaurant quality results in your home.

Sous Vide Chicken is remarkably more tasty.
This cooker is simple and works quite well. I see no reason why someone would spend substantially more so they could control it with their iPhone. Only a tech junkie would want that.So far I cooked chicken breast, chicken drumsticks and pork loin. All turned out more moist and tender than grilling or pan frying. The chicken drumsticks were the best but the chicken breast was the least improved, perhaps because it was the thickest and most dense.The cooker does have one shortcoming: the controls are simple but the cooker does not always respond to the inputs. One has to press the up arrow or down arrow repeatedly to get raise or lower the target temperature or cooking time. If the controls worked better I would have given the cooker a five-star rating.

Back in business
The first thing that went into the water was a dozen eggs. Perfect results. Shells slid right off. Pork chops next. This brand is an upgrade for me after my other one failed me several times with circulation. Now im a happy camper

Doesn't stand the test of time
I purchased this a few months ago to hop on the Sous Vide bandwagon and enjoyed using it initially, unfortunately that didn't last. I figured that the unit was a good compromise in price and quality and had a chefs name attached it, so it should be decent, however I was wrong. By the 6th cook the unit started to malfunction, not allowing the temp to be adjusted up (defaults on at 135) but would allow me to lower it. Then the screen started going nuts displaying random number or just lighting up with shapes.After leaving the unit unplugged for a day, it started to function normally. I tried to cook with it one more time thinking it might be a fluke, but the temp being displayed for the water was way off, I had cold tap water in the container and it was showing 85-90 degree water, so I put it away to contact customer service.I reached out to customer service to find that it's supported by a company that I'd not heard of before, they assured me that the unit was under warranty coverage and sent me a form to fill out. I filled out the form, attached the proof of purchase, and sent them a video of the units malfunction as requested. No response from their. I've reached out twice more and still nothing. I'm guessing it may eventually get replaced, but I would stay away from this unit and buy something more robust from a brand you've heard of. Definitely don't recommend and if I do get a replacement, I'll likely give it to my in-laws to try out, but I'll do what I should have done in the first place and buy a better unit and so should you.

Finally. The perfect Steak
I always wondered how steak-houses could always present the Perfect Medium-Rare (bright pink) steak, every time, regardless of thickness. Something I could never guarantee using the grill. This Sous Vide worked first time and I was amazed. The steak was cooked to perfect; was so tender and juicy, I will never cook another steak any other way again. FYI, I had (someone) had misplaced the user manual. No problem, the unit was easy to adjust and I had no issue at all. This is a must buy for anyone who loves a perfect steak.

Easy setup and virtually silent operating.
Emeril’s Sous Vide machine works like a dream and is as quiet as any! Worked perfectly right out of the box! It circulated the water slightly loud initially, but I found that increasing the water level stopped it. Impressive machine. I do hope to get many years use out of it. If not, I’ll buy another of the same. Fingers crossed!

Great when it works,
I usually don’t give negative reviews, but we have had two of these, both had “defective” touch sensitive buttons out of the box. The first one had a bad button on the timer, the second one (the replacement) had a bad temp. UP button....when it works it works great, but buttons are terrible!

Very Pleased!
Having the sous vide has made meal prepping/ preparing dinner a breeze! Everything turned out perfectly cooked and delicious! Set up is so easy and simple.
