This is the first time I've had an RTA 'box spring' base. The assembly looked to be a nightmare on the video, but it went together without a hitch. the construction is going to be much stronger than a wood base, and the cover gives it a great finished look. I was looking to add a few inches of height to a platform bed and this 5 inch unit was exactly what I needed. No more premade bases for me.

The typical bed frames are cheap and made out of wood that can break easily. This is great because it is made of metal and is very strong. I'm a large lady and it adds the support needed for my mattress. I have a memory foam mattress and this frame works perfectly with it. This will last for years to come and it is nice because it isn't too tall.

Needed to change out our base board due to our old one being too noisy. This did the trick. Easy to assemble and bed is completely silent now. Highly recommended.

OMG, what a nightmare to assemble! Finally made the frame to find the slay inserts are too big! I’m totally frustrated!!!!

Easy to put together, no squeaking or other noises. Has held up beautifully, will be ordering this again for my children's beds as well!
