What do you use for a matte finished bona sealed floor? will this work to protect an unpolshed satin hardwood floor?

Yes, but just use the cleaner, not the polish so the finish will remain satin.

Does the polish wear off after some time

It was a nightmare!!! It is a very dull gloss. It ruined the look of my wood flooring. It took me a weeks to strip it off. It does not remove easily. I would suggest a different product. I wanted to kill myself. Just sayn...

how many sq feet does this cover?

The 36oz bottle claims to cover 550sqft. We found it covered a bit less than 500sqft, perhaps loss due to the bona microfiber mops we used to apply this.
