Bought to replace a slow leak on my washer hose. Seem to be well made and sturdy. Color coding is a nice touch as well. So far…working just fine.

I would say I would be a repeat customer for these, but with the quality of them I don't think I'll need to be anytime soon. Recommended the four different family members already and everyone I've been more than happy with it.

Supply hoses where heavy duty, and easy to install. They were the perfect length.

We used this kit to install our new washer and dryer into a fairly cramped cabinet. The hose kit worked well as could be expected, though the 90° side was fairly tricky as you had to line everything up perfectly or the fitting would push out the rubber washer and then I'd have to fish it out from behind the washer. After a couple of attempts, it went just fine and the build quality of the hoses is solid.

Replaced 10+ year old 4 ft rubber hoses with these 6 ft hoses. I wanted 5 ft replacement hoses, but have no regrets getting these 6 ft. The new ones next to the old ones looked so much more durable, and I can sleep better knowing the 1500 psi burst protection is over 10x what I need. New hoses seemed sufficiently pliable to twist and turn in back of my washer when I move washer in and out.As an aside, whenever I install rubber against metal on my car or home, I always coat the rubber contact surface with silicone grease. This protects the rubber, improves the seal, as well as make it easier to remove the attachment at a future time. Thus I coat the mating surface of the rubber washers in these hose ends with a film of silicone grease, and the threads as well. I use either "plumbers grease" or "automotive sil-glyde grease" readily available on Amazon.

The tough coating backs up the steel mesh to make this hose burst-proof under normal water pressure. It also imparts a deep candy-coat color that makes them easier to identify in low-light conditions. The metal ends are machined to allow better grip with no wrench required, and the washers are shaped to pop in easily. I had no leaks after installing by hand. The elbow saves a couple inches of clearance, and both ends are crimped on with a solid jacket. You can find cheaper hoses, but I didn't see any of this quality at a better price. These Hippo Hoses are worth every penny!

Pay attention when handling the hoses, as some of the steel braiding material was protruding out in the area of the fitting on the end. Very sharp and cut my finger. Other wise product was good.

Not impressed my old cold hose didn't have a condensation problem the entire cold hose sweats.

Hose leaked on factory fitting.. small leak, but still a leak which makes the hose garbage. I don’t trust the product quality now.
