Good
Yeah i got this light because i didnt have much space for tge can due to tge hvac return duct in the ceiling and i wanted to match the recessed lighting in the kitchen. Works well. On issue when it goes gotta replace whole thing not just bulb. The rest i will do cans with Lithonia recessed bulb fixture in the can. But its good no problems. If it fits your needs Lithonia is good.

Very good light
Ease of install depends on your access to the ceiling and wiring. Mine was easy. Yours will vary. Mounts flush, good illumination. I have 3 now and might add some more somewhere else in the house.

Idiot proof installation for a high quality product
Can not recommend these enough! FYI I have never installed new recessed lights ever. I’ve replaced light bulbs and installed retrofit fixtures but that’s it. That said I’ve installed click n lock flooring, many bathroom vanity lights, sink faucets and tons of electrical outlets so there is some level of ability. Just wanted to clear that up!Installation: super duper easy! I installed a handful in my living room replacing a singular track light fixture. I found this Milwaukee adjustable drywall ceiling cutter that attaches to your drill to make the holes, then because I had attic space I was able crawl around and put the wires into place. I’m sure a snake tool would have worked but I don’t have and didn’t want to buy. Daisy chaining was easy with their quick attachment system specifically designed for it! No more need for throwing 3 white wires together and hoping for the best!Light quality: I am a light snob to start, having this 3000k light is the right color temp where I can see clearly without the yellow warmth that I don’t enjoy from 2700kLight amount: we put 4 in our living room and that was sufficient that we use the dimmer later at night to lower the levels. We could have added more but we didn’t want them too close to the windows creating glare which all lights would provide at nightOverall: I have stupidly recommended to everyone of my friends that need help with their lights that they should buy these AND I WILL HELP INSTALL!!!Better light better life!

Pretty good light, good color
The 3000K 90 CRI is a really nice light for our dining area. I was surprised how many vendors on Amazon are hustling 80 CRI lights by putting 90 CRI in the listing title. A 90 will be a decent cheap light, an 80 will make all your colors look off. Check the spec sheets before you buy!! The ridiculous looking mounting system for this light works, not sure how but it works. No problems with them slipping out.Three downsides of these lights - the finish painting has flaws and imperfections that you will see if you are looking for it. They will not start when the dimmer is very low, you have to come up to about 60% to get them to light then turn them down if you want less light. It's not because of the dimmers, I have better quality lights on the same dimmers that do not have this problem. Finally the junction boxes are quite small and supplied connectors are only good for one cable in and one cable out, so if your wiring layout is a "T" they are not going to work correctly out of the box. Some reviewers mention blinking, have not seen this at all, maybe it's operator error on their end.

Will not work in NYC with BX cable and connectors
The shape and size of the housing is not compatible with NYC wiring which requires BX cable. The BX connectors outside the box make the fixture not fit back up through the hole. Had to return. Color temp and brightness was good.

Bright and easy to install
This review is for the 4" Gimbal light. Very easy to install. This was the 1st time installing recessed lighting and the 1st light took about 15 minutes but after that it was under 10 minutes per light (and getting faster). These lights do have glare, so I would suggest only using them if you really need to aim the beam (I purchased the version that let's you pivot the light) ie. towards a piece of artwork on the wall.Next time I will get the 4" with the baffle.PS the manufacturer's website has a lighting calculator specifically for the light output of each model they sell...makes planning the layout very easy. Also, I added the dimming smart switch from Kasa and it works awesome. Just make sure that you have a neutral wire or it won't work.
