When bought with the Knosti cleaning bath, works out cheaper than a full kit, if you can do without the drying rack and cleaning fluid.The turning spindle flexes/twists when changing direction of the record, as the cleaning brushes resist the direction change, so best to help by rotating the record by hand as well as with the handle.The label cover is a bit fiddly, as it's quite smooth plastic, and the indents for grip are angled and shallow, so you can't grab hold of it properly when undoing them from the record.The label covers do a reasonable job keeping out the cleaning fluid, but it's sometimes hard to get them to tighten properly as the rubber seals are grippy and don’t allow that final turn.I find if you slighy dampen the seals with distilled water, you're able to tighten them better.The covers could be slightly bigger, as they don't always fully cover the label.Overall does the job, but could be improved.

1st set had to be returned as one of the brushes wouldn't fit2nd one OK if a bit tight, I buy these to make sure I rotate from clean to rinse unit and always have newer brushes on the cleaning unitThe Knosti Disco Antistat MKII beats the spinclean type hands down

When my friend Val died I was given her 45'rpm singles. They were crackly. I invested in this and it has cleaned them up well. I will make my own cleaning mixture in future though so that there is no residue on the records.

My replacement kit did not work as expected, the o'ring seals did not fit correctly and leaked fluid. The handle is too weak and comes apart when going in the opposite direction. DO NOT BUY THIS UPGRADE!

As the last reviewer said, hopeless exactly the same results, rubber doesn’t fit properly , leaks solution and the stick for the wheel doesn’t turn the record, utterly hopeless, sending back . DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, NOT FIT FOR USE!
