Did it’s job
Installed a new unit into my car. It had a lot of feedback found out the exposed connections were giving ground noise. Plug them up with these bad boys. Static ground noise gone. Crazy how something so simple can cause such a big problem.

Nice shorting caps, easy to insert and remove
If you have unused inputs on a piece of audio equipment, these shorting plugs will keep unwanted stray signals (think RFI) from entering through the connector. If you have such interference, these may solve your problems. Since there are other ways that stray signals can enter the signal path, using these is not guaranteed to stop the interference, but it's a good place to start.NOTE: Do not place shorting caps on RCA output jacks. They could cause damage to the circuitry. For signal outputs, you would use NON-SHORTING RCA CAPS or plastic dust caps.

Did your equipment call for the use of these...
OK.... Yes these are ok and do work but only under a few instances you should use these...1 = Did your amp or receiver originally have these on a second set of phono input ??2 = These are to be used ONLY on phono input and no where else.3 = If your amp or receiver didnt come with these , on a second set of phono inputs - DONT USE THEM WITHOUT INSTALLING A RESISTER, as they can short out a channel and cause major Amp or receiver damage... Look it up on line and you will see its true that these can KILL your Amp or receiver if it wasnt made for them or there is no resister installed to use with them.. FACT ..

RCA cap covers
I use these to cover up phono plugs on my mixer that I am not currently using. They work well.

Shorted out the sound on my new amp.
Bought these to keep dust out of the unused ports on my amp. when I got no sound what so ever from the amp I uninstalled these and it worked fine. Do not buy these unless you are planning on storing the equipment or just don't want it to work.
