Worked great for me!
Yes, it's cheap, and flimsy but it does the job. I used sheet metal screws to attach behind the seat of a single cab truck - below the window. I can hang my truck gun on the bottom rack and it is not visible from the outside (in my truck). Even on the top rack, one would have to be looking for it to see it. It's almost as easy to get to as if it was in the window when you fold the seat forward, and at the right level when you are out of the truck. On the top rack, a full length shotgun can be taken out of the rack while still in the vehicle. My truck gun does not rattle or make noise on the rack, and it is holding up just fine off-road and around the farm. Please check your local laws before transporting a firearm in your vehicle, and consider that if someone breaks in - your gun will likely disappear. Think before you leave a firearm in a vehicle, and be very careful removing a firearm from a gun rack in a vehicle. I will never leave a loaded (round chambered) firearm in my vehicle, and I live out in the middle of nowhere...

Poor construction
Hard to install on account the metal is very flimsy, would not put a gun in it no way it would hold I tried to use for fishing poles and it to crappy for that

Who Wrote These Instructions?!?!
Although I am no expert handyman, I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable and handy when it comes to something that should be simple to install. After following the instructions exactly, I decided I must be doing it wrong because the rack would fall out of my back window with just the slightest movement. Long story short, I scrapped the instructions and figured out a way to mount it myself. I put it in an old 1990 Ford pickup, so I didn't really care how it looked in the end. But had I been installing it in a nice truck, I don't think I would have been very happy. Some have mentioned missing/wrong hardware. Yep, that was me too. I had to scavenge my garage for more nuts and screws which didn't make me very happy considering they put some nut caps in the package that served no purpose whatsoever. Their own diagram (mediocre at best) didn't even show them being used!I'm embarrassed to admit that it took me over 3 hours to install this rack. Why? Because I wouldn't do the smart thing and give up on the provided instructions. Now that I figured out my own way to do it, I could probably have it done in 20-30 minutes. But it took me a lot of head-scratching and re-reading of the worthless directions to get to that point. So as for the product itself, it looks like it will do what I want it to...if I only put one rifle in it. I tried to fit a 30-30 and a scoped rifle in it at the same time. It's a little too tight for my liking. It would have been nicer if the non-adjustable hooks were not so vertically close to one another. The picture on the internet is deceiving, making it look like you have plenty of room for two scoped rifles. This simply is not so.I saw that most of the 4 and 5 star ratings were from people who either mounted the rack on an ATV or something else similar, or they hadn't installed it yet. If you install it in a truck like I did, my advice to you would be to expect a trip to the hardware store to get more parts and to throw the instructions away and mount it your own way.

It works.
A little difficult to get a good fit. I was able to use a pair of external snap ring pliers to add tension to the brace. And then tighten screws. I also added lock washers to help keep the screws tight.

Pretty Good
The assembly instructions didn't make complete sense. I made it work in on my Chevy square body, but be prepared to make some modifications to the plastic bits with a dremel. It's sturdy in the window rubber... doesn't move at all. The hooks are a bit flimsy feeling, but they grip pretty well. They hold two full size guns while off roading without an issue. Overall, I would recommend.

It broke while putting it together
I'm using it, but it falls off fairly easy. I'm not using it for guns, or else it wouldn't be there. I'm using it for a 24" and a 36" squeegees, as it keeps them from getting squished or bent by other things. The plastic base broke while I was tightening a screw. That part really should have been metal, imo. I may be able to fix it in the future with some washers and different screws, that's why I kept it. Don't want to look any more, as this is serving my purpose, for now.

this gum rack is exactly what is was looking for. I wanted a rack to hang my to hang my rlfels on in my deer hunting box blind. It worked perfect. No more guns straps on the floor that could get caught by your foot and cause your rifle to fall and possible discharge. It was a great idea.

Works good
Factory mounting hardware kinda feeble. I purchased to hold 4 ft levels in my truck. Had to silicone to glass. Now it's sturdy. Can't image it holdings the weight of two riffles otherwise. Cheers

Ok
Works well enough but I had to modify it to fit my mid size truck. Also added some two sided tape just to make sure it doesn’t fall. Don’t expect this to fit and work perfectly with out a little messing around. But it seems to work well now and fits both my rifle and shotgun at the same time.

Cheap crap with incompatable fasteners
Most of the pieces seem strong enoughThe bolts are too long to use the supplied acorn nuts anywhereThe plastic pads needed to be trimmed to fit the hooksThe plastic pads broke when bolts were tightenedDoes not fit well on my 2012 SierraIf you buy this expect to buy depart bolts to assemble it and be careful when tightening them
