Delicious and chewy. I LOVE licorice and always look at the ingredients of licorice; licorice extract is listed fourth or fifth for this product. That’s important to me.

Great. Fast delivery. It wasn't as strong flavored as I like licorice to be. I miss the old fashioned kind...

I tried this licorice after my long time supplier of salmiak licorice changed the recipe to make it taste like molasses candy. I have re-ordered these a number of times. They do contain licorice extract that can have bad side effects in some individuals. I have eaten real licorice my whole life but I am more careful now about the amounts in light of some adverse side effects making the news.

4.5 stars. We LOVE our firm and flavorful katjes drop or licorice cats but man oh man, it's hit or miss on freshness. The packs we get that are fresh are OVER THE TOP AWESOME but more often than not (75% of the time), we get a box that has been sitting on the shelf for a while it seems. I get it - nothing is as fresh as home (Holland) but if K & H cracks the freshness bit, they would easily have 5 stars. This is also the case with Munten Drop (Licorice Coins).

Love the flavor and the slight 'crust' which makes them last longer. My problem is usually that I eat licorice too fast and therefore I eat too much! These slow down the chewing process and make the experience last longer!

These are great. I've been on a hunt for good strong licorice since a brand that I used to get stopped distribution (and I can't even find it on the web, so perhaps the company went under.) These are that, and fill the void that the common USA licorice products just don't touch. Obviously no good if you don't like black licorice. Possibly not good (and you should find the smaller amount of 12 individual packages under a different brand name, which do seem to be the same thing, if you just want to try it) if you are quite happy with black gumdrops, jellybeans and molasses-choked strips, strings chews and laces.They are firm, and they are not salted (both fine with me, just to classify them in the realm of licorice.) They taste of licorice, not molasses.I have them on auto-order.

I love this licorice! A friend of mine let me sample his and I was hooked. I bought quantity because where I live they don’t do black licorice. When I’m in the US I will purchase this brand and quantity again.
