Great Wallet
I ALWAYS have a wallet case. I hate carrying a purse so I need to have a wallet case. I have had incipio wallet cases in the past so when I upgraded to the iPhone XS Max I was thrilled to see a wallet option from incipio was available for this device. It’s a bit smooth so I can see it being a bit slippery. I added a pop socket to make it easier to hold and I’m in LOVE. The wallet pocket is a great size. It fits two credit cards, my drivers license and my insurance card easily with no strain. Some people have commented on the color not being black, I find it’s more like a clear gray. Overall great case, does exactly what I need!

So far so good!
I just received this case this morning in the mail. The advertisement said it could hold 3 cards but I can comfortably hold four; three actual cards and a thinner state ID card.It is a bit slippery but I put a pop socket on the back and all is well. It’s not a plasticky type material, so it does have a bit of grip on it. I’m sure it’s just a matter of getting used to the texture. The slide that holds the cards appears to be study and durable. If I find something in the course of using this case that I dislike, I will update.

One of the better card cases out there.
Pros: Well engineered. Thin for a wallet case. Provides good protection. The case can easily hold three cards and four on occasion. The sliding door in the back is easy to maneuver. Supports wireless charging.Cons: None glaring, although the 'divider' that separates the phone from the cards is thin. It seems like it would hold up to repeated use but time will tell. Incipio makes good products, so I am optimistic. This is one of the better card cases out there and it is priced right. I'd definitely put it on a short list.I have no relationship with the seller and was not compensated for this review.

Durable, but too large
I love the idea of this product, but it makes your phone too large, especially if you have small to medium sized hands. If the case wasn’t so expensive, I would have just tossed it.On a more positive note, I’ve dropped my phone about 5 times and it’s held up.

Best Wallet Case for Iphome XS Max!
This is by far the Best wallet case for the iPhone XS Max, it looks so sleek and gorgeous love the color on this. It also is very well made very sturdy and will protect the phone in the event of any drops. Now for the best part, it comfortably holds 3 cards with ease and the sliding mechanism is absolutely perfection. Incipio knocked it out of the park with this case!

Not easy to use compared to older incipio card holder cases
Having a card holder is a must for me. I have used incipio for years but not a fan of this new model. It was a nice slim case, felt slippery in my hand though. The card holder stuck maybe 1/5 times and it wasn’t super easy to get my cards out. I ended up returning it as I didn’t love the color choices, potential drop hazard, and mostly the difficulty accessing my cards.

Does it's job, but for how long?
EDIT: this case proved wonderful for years until I upgraded! I wish they made the same one for an iPhone 12 Pro Max but sadly I can’t find one that works. This one is great though! So as opposed to other brands I've gotten this one is a bit more secure, but after using it for a couple months it's starting to lose this. The slide is getting easier and easier to open so all it takes is a little bump and the cards are exposed. I wish a company could come out with one that securely locks into place and stays that way months after use. I use a pop-socket with mine so it makes it even easier to open.

Could use more grip
Overall case is good. It’s definitely bulky/thick. From the looks of the pictures provided by the company, it looked like it had ridges and a grippy back. None of which is true, it is slippery falls out of the hand easily. It does hold 3 cards comfortably and hidden nicely.

Incipio Stashback Awesome Case
I’ve tried numerous card cases for my XS Max but nothing comes close to the Incipio Stashback. It looks great and I can store 4 cards. And the bonus is I can charge it wirelessly
