Good all around pedal
I play heavy and death metal this pedal is amazing absolutely no ring or buzz only from the guitar but that's not the pedals fault it has an extremely cool isf function that gives it a very cool inside out sound I would highly recommend this it feels sturdy and I stomp on it regularly I never ah without it it has great highs and lows it is very defined when soloing but chunky for riffs if it doesn't fit your standards you an always change the settings on the pedal

Great but lots of low end, be careful.
The pedal has an amazing distortion. Be careful however. The pedal has a TON of low end so if you have a lower wattage amp with a small speaker, don't crank it to hard or you'll blow out the speaker. A higher wattage amp that can handle all that low end will sound immense though!

Awesome
Even though it's been used, it looks and feels new, anyway, it gives me the distortion that I needed

this is truly the worst sounding pedal I have ever heard
Mine could have been defective, but it sounded awful right out of the box with a properly working guitar, amp, and cords. Imitated settings used in Youtube videos of this pedal on the clean settings of my amp and it sounded nothing alike. If my pedal was not a lemon, this is truly the worst sounding pedal I have ever heard.

Meh.
Wanted a NWOBHM sound, this didn't really do it. Was running through a VOX AC30, and the Blackstar just completely murdered the tone. It never seemed to hit that sweet spot. I don't want to draw comparisons to the dreaded MT-2, but it did have a similar vibe: simultaneously too much and also never quite enough. Finally went and bought a Marshall DSL40 and Wampler Tumnus. WAAAY more expensive, but gave me exactly what I was looking for, tone wise.
