Sunpro CP7908 Mini Super Tachometer II - Black Dial

The Sunpro tach is the perfect size for my 1955 Belair. It was easy to hook up, only 4 wires and it works great. It does not block any of my switches or other gauges. The only complaint I have is that a clamp is not included for attaching to the steering column. I would recommend this Sunpro tach to anyone looking for a small unobtrusive tach for their car.

I bought this for my 62 Falcon. It arrived today. I opened the packaging and realized something didn't look right. Finally noticed the dial face was off center by a fair amount. It looks pretty cheap. I expected more from a Sunpro Tach. I'm sending it back.

Tach works great. Too bad they give you a mount for a larger tach. I set the gage too far from the column. I had to create my own.

I use this with my 86 ranger to set idle on carburetor. Works well for that and I have it mounted on dash panel with accurate and quick enough response for normal driving. Really not large enough for track or preformance use as dial marks are close together. This is my second it is a plastic enclosure and needle and my first warped from heat due to putting reflective sun block screen in a position that had tachometer between the sunblock panel and the front windshield. I live in nc with summer temps above 100.

I'm fancying up a van & wanted a small Tach. Old school, these Sun Tachs have been around awhile & Sun makes great products. It was easy to install & has all the needed equipment (accessories) included. I will buy these again whenever I want to install a Tack. It is an accurate Tachometer. (It looks great).

For the price you pay, you get a really nice tachometer. Overall quality and setup is nice, and the responsiveness is very quick. Very Pleased!

I've had Sun's tachs in 2 previous cars - they were both the largest in size available at the time. I elected to get this smaller one for my new ride because of the dash configuration, and the advertised size of 2-5/8 would have been perfect. When I got this my first reaction was 'that's not almost 3"!! This dial measures 2 inches by my ruler. I was contemplating sending it back but still don't want the full-size unit and getting this out of the package destroyed the package. It's contained in a 'blister card' affair and has to be cut open.I will still use it... I just wish it was the size advertised.

SUN is a legend in tachs. This is a small one, but a nice looking one, white on black. It has a rounded base for mounting on the steering wheel and it didn't fit any of mine, so I need to alter the mount somehow to fit flat under the dash or on top of the dash. But it's nice stuff.
