Alaffia Repair & Restore Daily Moisturizing Crème, 8 FZ

My hair is terribly frizzy and the kind of curly that is difficult to brush and then manage. I sought a hair lotion to smooth it and nourish it. I’m so pleased with it. It does what I needed it to do. The amazing thing is that it doesn’t take much. I used to use an Alaffia product that I needed more of. I recently bought this one because I couldn’t find the other one. This is a better value than the other in that less is needed. Out of habit I have put too much in the first few times. Overall, I love this product. It’s a better container to have the pump too. The fragrance is wonderful but a bit strong. It just smells like essential oils. It’s strong though. Again, a little goes a long way.

I’m so upset with Alaffia. I happily used their Beautiful Curls leave in conditioner for years and they suddenly took it off the market. I asked them what I could replace it with and they suggested Repair and Restore. The scent is absolutely ghastly! It took me three days to get the smell out of my hair! I tried smelling another one of their products at a store and it had the same horrible smell. Alaffia! Please bring back the pleasant smelling Beautiful Curls line!

I have thick 3C to 4B hair texture. Its hard to find a moisturizer that works on ethic or mixed grain hair. It doesn't leave behind a white mask on strands and blends well with other products.This products seams into strands dry or wet which is amazing...especially when you don't want to have to wet your hair to get moisture.The first ingredient is Baobab and Shea...AMAZING ! Lightly scented. A little bit goes along way if you section hair and brush product through from root to end.Worth the price, but hard to find.

I really love the smell of this product. It it natural and reminds me of Aveda product scents. I have straight hair and I only use a dime size amount and it leaves me hair shiny and deranged. It also smooths out my frizzies. I initially put too much product at first and it was tacky and greasy but if you only use a tiny bit on your ends it works great!

The smell seems to be polarizing. I personally love it. It's an earthy spearmint that I don't get tired of. I've been searching for a replacement for devacurl products and this is what I've settled on. It makes my hair nice and curly and lasts all day. It's cheaper at natural grocers stores so I buy it there.

Great product, smells good and moisturizes really well. It shapes the curls nicely, and keeps frizz away. My only complaint is that even with using a small amount, it leaves the hair a wee crunchy, which I’m not the biggest fan of, but will keep using. I will also try their leave in conditioner to see if it helps with less “crunchy” feel.

I usually LOVE Alaffia’s products, however this leave in conditioner doesn’t do it for me. I really dislike the smell, it’s quite strong and lasts majority of the day. I also find that my hair looks greasy when I use it. I just think this product didn’t work for me.

Two kids, two different textures of hair. It works great on the one with spiral curls. The other has much tighter curls and it does not seem to moisturize them as well. Overall not bad though
