Awesome, great, superb, excellent, wonderful, perfect. These are a few of the words that describe this Yu-Gi-Oh! God card. Its abilities are awesome and it has a signature of the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! It also has great artwork.If this card is Normal Summoned, it is not easy to destroy. You could count all of the cards that can destroy Obelisk on your hands.Some of the best ever cards are quickly eliminated by Obelisk. The total of effects and sheer power is unparalleled, except for its illegal, original counterpart.Its abilities are:The Normal Summon of this card cannot be negated.You can sacrifice 2 monsters on your side of the field to destroy all your opponent's monsters.Nobody can activate effects the turn it's Normal Summoned.It cannot be targeted by effects.4000ATK 4000DEFYou have to sacrifice 3 monsters to Normal Summon Obelisk.The turn you activate the destruction effect, you cannot attack with Obelisk.If it's Special Summoned, it is destroyed at the end of the turn.In my opinion, this card is awesome and it would be a mistake not to buy it.

I ordered this to gain some extra copy's of this card. Of course I did this at the time they printed it because I know in about a year from now the value of this card will only go up. The original god cards sell for a lot and now that there is finally a deck legal one people will eventually go nuts over it.Anyway, from my personal analysis it plays a little different from the way it is used in Nightmare Trubidore and sprite caller. As far as I knew these 2 DS games where for a long time the closets thing you could find for official rules for the cards as the original god cards cannon t be used in a deck.The main difference I noticed is that this card must be Normal summon face up when you are not special summoning it, It cannot be set. This means you cannot defend with it on your opening turn with it. However with its 4000 atk. only a select few cards would have no fear of it. However, to lessen the risk during summoning you cannot counter its summoning. this means you opponent can't chain a card on to its summoning like Torrential tribute to destroy it.Another difference they made with this card is that you cannot attack with it if you double sac to destroy all you opponents monsters. It think this was a good change from the DS rendition as this card is a little over powered already.Beyond that it plays the same. You still triple sac. to Normal summon it and you still can special summon it from the graveyard at the cost of losing it at the end of the turn.Also it is still defended from cards that designate it as a target such as man eater bug and any equip spells. However you must remember that any cards that does not target obelisk the tormentor can still kill it such as Dark Hole and Mirror force ext. So a good duelist will want to prepare there god decks for these kind of cards as they are the biggest threat to them.However, obelisk is defended agents most cards in the game as most cards designate targets when killing or chain to a monsters summoning, so Its still an excellent card. The number of threatening cards to obelisk the torrmentor are so few that I can almost list all of them if I wanted to. However, this is a card review and not a lecture on how to best defend and destroy the god cards.Anyway , this card is a limited shonen jump card. So it was only printed for one mouth and will most likely never be released again. because of this the cards value will go up and considering how highly sought the non-deck leagel god cards are this cards value should sky rocket faster then most. My advice is get them while there still low in the low cost range.

Card is mint condition and well packaged. got shipped in 2 days after purchase and got to me in 3 days of waiting. over all these god cards are awesome, I cant wait for Ra to be made playable ; the only way to kill them is via battle and since Obelisk has 4k attack and defense once you summon it its challenge to get rid of it.pro: the best way to beat a God card is to prevent it. make sure the opponent never gets 3 monsters on his side of the field ; very difficultcon: you must sacrifice 3 cards to summon it ; no exceptions

This card is really amazing. First off, when it's summoned it's summon can't be negated by ANYTHING. Secondly he can be special summoned, which is surprising when you consider how many monster's of his strength can't be nowadays, there is a catch to that though, he goes to the grave at the end of the turn he is special summoned. Finally, he has a effect which clears your opponents monsters from the field at the cost of two of your own.Now when I first read all of his effects a bulb went off in my head and I realized that he would be perfect in a zombie deck. Just use Zombie World to turn him into a zombie when he's in the grave, special summon from said grave, give up two zombie's to clear opponents field of monsters. Even his 3 monster tribute cost isn't a big deal in a zombie deck, since they swarm so easily.I think that YuGiOh players should at least buy one copy of this card while it's still at the price it's at. Even if you're not going to use it in a deck, it's still worth it to me for the rarity of it.P.S. that zombie deck idea was just a suggestion, you could probably use this card in a million other ways.

This card arrived in record time. Obelisk the Tormentor is one monster of a card. 4000 ATK and DEF, nice raigeki effect, and immune to traps, spells, and monster effects. The only complaint I have is that this card is hard to get on the field but when you do, its virtually unstoppable.It came in mint condition, came in a very cool holographic metal dragon card sleeve, and is a must buy for any yugioh fan.I give this product 5 out of 5.

I had recently purchased this item, as a means of completing a section of my God Card collection. Slight indentations were present on the face of the card, albeit, they were extremely minimal and the rest of the card, was immaculate. This card is certainly a well-deserving addition to my collection and yes, I would order from this supplier again.

These are the limited edition magazine God cards which was handed out with a selected few and I manage to get one! Overall it's an amazing card
