NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE DUE TO BEING LEFT ON DOORSTEP IN RAIN, FOUR PACKETS VERY BADLY SEALED (FAULTY HOT MELT GLUE SEALS HAD FAILED ON APPLICATION) SHODDY ATTEMPTS HAD BEEN BOTCHED IN ATTEMPT TO RE-SEAL THE PACKETS, THESE HAD BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL. VERY POOR QUALITY CONTROL FOR A FOOD ITEM, VERY BAD ALL-ROUND APPROACH TO PRODUCT PRESENTATION TO CUSTOMER, IN SHORT, I AM DISGUSTED AT BEING INFORMED WITH, “NON RETURNABLE” WHAT AN ATTITUDE???

This is an excellent spice blend for the Indian dish called chana masala. I learned about it in a recent YouTube video by “Plantiful Kiki”. It is neither too hot nor too spicy, but has 14 perfectly balanced ingredients to delight every taste bud you possess. Note that it contains salt as the third ingredient. One tablespoon contains 380mg of sodium, but this blend is so bursting with flavor that I haven’t had to use more than a teaspoon of it in any dish.

It's a wonderful masala mix, but it needs two other mixes to make a good chance masala. I'm lucky I had them on hand. I would have preferred a jar or a resealable bag to the bag that it comes in, but many Indian spices come in such bags. Overall, it makes a great chance masala. The recipe is right on the box and the instructions are easy to follow. I suggest reading the back of the box and buying the extra spices if you don't keep a variety of Indian spices on hand.

I love curry and those not American food choices. It's like tasting the world. I really liked this it was a bit spicy. Not hot. I would buy it again.
