My dog loves this food!
We rescued beagle a year and a half ago. I have told her hundreds of times and now I am telling you, NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO HURT MY MOLLY AGAIN! They think she was 2-3 years old when we got her. From the first day we brought her home, she wouldn't eat. She didn't eat until the third day after arriving. She hated every single brand of dog food I bought. She loved, "People Food". My husband and I would feel so bad that she wouldn't eat, soon we were giving her a bite of this and a bit of that at our meals. (She loves watermelon). One day I was looking at her and realized she had gained weight. We put her on the scales and she was over 30lbs! She weighed 23 lbs when we adopted her. How did we let this happen? We thought we were helping by give her bits of fat from a steak or even stir fry vegetables. She loves every bit of human food we would give her. She hates treats also. Believe me, I bought bunches of them. One day my husband said he was getting tired of me buying all of this food and treats to give away. Even at Christmas, I bought her two Big Meaty Bones as a treat but she never touched them. The quest for something she would like kept going. She would eat her kibble when she was so hungry she would have eaten a piece of wood. She would pick out the ones she liked and the rest would be on the floor, but she didn't like it. I have been searching for something better the whole time. She was scratching when we got her also. I have used probiotics, Top grade olive oil and oil of oregano along with anything else I could find while researching but she was still scratching. As I kept looking, I noticed a few companies offered "freeze-dried" dogfood but they were so expensive for the amount you received, it wasn't worth it. The only dog food she loved was the time I ordered Dr. Marty's dog food. She loved it and couldn't contain herself while it sat for the 3 minutes. It was almost $80 dollars for 3 tiny bags. I couldn't keep spending that much. So, I kept looking. One day a few weeks ago, I saw Spot farm dehydrated food. I loved the ingredients listed for it so I ordered it. It is so easy to get it ready. I do not use the instructions as to how much water to put with the powdered looking food. I turn on my hot faucet after I have put the food in her bowl. I use a fork to stir it and as it gets thicker and thicker, I stick it under for another bit of water. I have to wait for 3 minutes anyway so I might as well be using that time to keep adding water. I saw where one person said it was so thin it was like soup. It isn't. More like oatmeal. I love watching it come alive. I see carrot, lots of green bits, something red that I haven't figured out yet. It is human grade food and Molly loves it!!! I have watched the scratching go down over the last 2 weeks or so she has been on it. I ordered the turkey, but now I think that it isn't only chicken she is sensitive to. I think the turkey is also since both are poultry. Next box will be something other than poultry. I have finally found something Molly loves so much that she even licks the rug that her food and water sit on when she has licked her bowl clean. We timed her over the weekend to see how long it takes her to eat it. On Saturday, 41 seconds. Tonight it was 26 seconds. If you have a picky dog and you love your pet, try this Spot Farm food. The box is so much easier to store instead of those big bags of dog food. Your dog will love it and you will love how many meals you make from this small box. I will never buy another brand again as long as the price doesn't go up too much. I will, however, buy the different flavors that they sell. It already has the probiotics in it. I love that it has so many different vegetables and fruits in it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for finally knowing that she loves her breakfast and dinner. I measure it out and she has indentions back on her sides once again. You took care of my Molly and there are not enough thank yous for that. I'm a customer for life!

i love it, my dogs love it, what's not to love
my dogs go wild for this food. neither one of them are big eaters, meaning when i buy them any type of dry foods they aren't big fans and usually it ends up sitting in the bowl for awhile. this food, whether it be because it's soft, delicious, or because i use warm water with it to make it a cozy meal for them - they absolutely love it. i have never seen my pups go crazy for food the way they do for this one. one of my dogs likes his very soupy, and the other likes hers thicker - which is the best part about this food, you can make the consistency fit whatever you dog likes. i'll continue to have it on autoship each month!

my dog loves it
For his dinner meal, I mix in about 3/4 cup of this with cold or hot water (depending on time of the year), let it sit to thicken up, then stir it in with a 1.5 cups of his dry food. Our dog was 140+ lbs when we first got him. He has lost 50 lbs with this food and exercise. Has great coat and lots of energy. The only downside is his poop smells awful.

My dog loves his Spot Farms!
I've been feeding my dog Spot Farms for about two years now. He absolutely loves each of the recipes and he is looking and feeling very healthy while on it. I do about half of the spot farms mixed with his kibble of another brand. I think that's the best way for the money. I'd go through so much so quickly if I did a full bowl. The only negatives I have are in the medium and large sized boxes, they really need to get a better type of ziploc. I can never close the bag because so much of the dehydrated food gets caught in it. Seems like a super simple fix they can do. I also wish they had a couple more recipes. But otherwise, we love it!

Gruel - but according to Minnie - tasty
Daily supper for my Bernese Mt. Dog for past 2 years and probably the highlight of her day - she loves it; it’s easy on her system and is a break from her morning kibble. Yes you have to mix with water and it’s a bit of ‘art’ getting the ratio of water to mix perfected but really not a biggie, I’m very satisfied with the product, story and ingredients - it is however more difficult to find.

Not for picky eaters... and fruit/veggies are too big to digest.
I have a multiple dog home. I really wanted to like this food for my dogs. Some of my dogs didn't mind it but all of my dogs preferred their other food because this doesn't have much smell that would attract them. My dogs were previously on wellness kibble (for comparison). Obviously this can be fixed with a broth or topper for all my dogs EXCEPT my picky senior Chihuahua... She absolutely hated this food to the point that she started skipping meals regularly (I switched the food over slowly of course, but it didn't make a difference). It almost smells like baby rice cereal, but it's not attractive to old dogs with dulled senses. My BIGGEST issue with this food (the reason I stopped buying) is the large chunks of dried carrots and fruit. Most dogs really need fruits and veggies ground up to be digested. This is usually common knowledge among higher quality dog food manufacturers so I was frustrated that spot farms doesn't do this. Honest kitchen does... and they're very similar.I regularly found undigested fruit/veggies thrown up or in their poop because it was too large to be digested. If they can't digest it then how is it different from a filler ingredient?! This company really should just grind up the fruits/veggies. It wouldn't be that hard for them... so I've been frustrated about that. I found myself trying to put the food in the blender to grind the fruits/veggies, which was a huge pain since I have multiple dogs (maybe it's doable if you have one or two dogs) but it did seem to help if you really like this food. But for me, between my picky senior and the unground veggies/fruit I recently decided to switch back to my original kibble. I still gave 3 stars because of the higher quality ingredients.
