Chesapeake Bay Candle The Collection Two-Wick Scented Candle, Blue Cedar Fig, 2 Count

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this because I thought it might be too sweet, but I couldn't be happier. I used to have a candle that smelled like this and I could never find anything that matched the scent. I will try to explain it. It smells faintly candy-like. Bright, and light, creamy cashmere with tangy plum notes, but it's a pleasant fruit note that doesn't smell like "food". Think of it more like a "creamy plum candy" because of the bright notes instead of something that smells like a sweet bowl of fruit. It's one of those smells that you'll go, "What is that? I love it, but I can't place what it is," and I love smells like that. I don't like the usual smells that everyone else seems to like. I enjoy complex, unique smells and this one is definitely amazing. I haven't lit it yet, but I will come back and add my thoughts about the throw and burn.

Chesapeake Bay Candles does not disappoint. I tend to be very picky about candles and this one passes the test. This candle has 2 wicks rather than one. It's a nice feature as this candle tends to be larger than a number of their other candles that I've used. The 2 wicks allow it to burn nice and evenly so you don't end up with an indentation in the middle with unmelted wax surrounding it. That's a nice feature. I liked the color of the glass surrounding the candle, it adds interest and even helps to set the mood. This one has a lid that isn't wood like some of their other candles. Since I like to put the lid on to extinguish the flame, I prefer the wood lid but that is just my preference. The lid that it comes with is perfectly fine as well. I did not burn this candle as long in one setting as I normally do. Mainly because the scent on this one was just a bit stronger than some of their other scents. It's not overly strong but if you prefer a softer scent you might try a different "flavor". Over all this is a great candle.

This is one of the best smelling candles! I’m very picky about my candles and usually only prefer the bath and body works 3 wick candles but these are much cheaper and make the whole house smell good!

I was never really a candle person until my girlfriend moved in with me and certain scents always seem to set off some allergies for me (pine or strong fragrence) but this I can honestly say it's very pleasant and mild. It's a gentle aroma that quickly fills the room while not being over powering. Lit everyday for about 2-3 hours it lasted for almost a solid 6 weeks!

whenever I burn this candle people compliment it even if they typically prefer smells that I don't like. It seems to be a winner with everyone. It's got a sultry yet sweet smell.

I tend to buy Chesapeake Bay candles often so I thought I'd try this line. I love it! It's by far my favorite. It's got a sleek look and it smells wonderful. I don't love fruity smells so the Blue Cedar Fig fits my style perfectly. I will definitely be buying more. My only issue was the amount of packaging it came in. I think the thick paper would be sufficient enough protection without all the bubble wrap--too much waste. Otherwise, the product is exactly what I wanted.

Generally, I love Chesapeake Bay candles. They burn nicely and smell great. The same may be try for this candle, but I can’t get past the condition in which I received it!It was lightly packed in a box. When I opened up the box the actual candle part and the glass part of the candle had disconnected, a top wasn’t included with mine, and there was a decent diced bar code sticker that was half torn off on the front. Honestly, this looked like it had been sitting on a clearance shelf, at Walmart, for the last 6 months.I was hoping to use this as a ‘last-minute backup gift idea’ for Christmas, but that’s not possible.Pretty disappointed.

I would not buy this candle again. When it arrived one wick was way too short to hold a flame. Not worth my time to send it back otherwise I would. I am not sure if this was due to the handling or what but I have bought from this manufacturer before and have not had any issues. So the issue may be with this particular seller.
