We are using this as a foot stool ottoman for our couch rather than shoe storage. It was easy to take the velcro shoe storage off the inside so now we can use it for blanket/assorted storage instead. It is a really close match color and fabric wise, slight velvet feel, and truly a light grey unlike other ottomans that look light in pictures but are actually much darker, like the one I returned before trying this one.The one that came with the couch itself was huge, round, with an unpleasant swirl pattern, and had no storage so we had to pass on it and find a replacement. First replacement was a bust, but this one works perfect. It was much too tall with the legs so we didn't attach them, now it's perfect height and not having legs makes it even sturdier.The fabric is soft and easy to clean. I already cleaned chocolate off it on day one from little one and it came off easily with no leftover stains after drying. The cushion on top is comfortable for resting feet on, plus it is heavy and sturdy. Toddler is already standing on it and jumping off it to the couch and it seems very stable and solid.I like that it is wider than a lot of the ottomans I was finding, yet also long enough so feet from every seat can use it. This looks great and it also means it has tons of storage. And best of all, it was under $200. I am actually impressed, it really is a very good product, especially for the price.

Very, very pleased with this purchase. I researched extensively on multiple sites before deciding on this bench. It was the perfect combination of style, functionality, price, color, etc. The material is very nice and soft, with a suede-like feel and appearance. Height was important to me as well, as I wanted a bench that was a bit on the tall side. I also wanted a bench that would stay open on it's own. It fits all of our throw pillows (we have four)- with plenty of room for extra blankets, etc. I was convinced that I would have to purchase several before I found one that I like, but I nailed it the first time around with this one! Very pleased with purchase and price. Highly recommend.

I bought this storage chest to put at the end of my bed. I got the light grey one, and I love the color and the fabric. I also love the brown color of the legs, which is hard to find because most other storage ottomans had black legs, but I wanted a color that would match the color of my bedroom furniture. It comes completely assembled except for the legs, which just easily screw on.It comes with shoe storage pouches all the way around, but I didn't need them because I'm using it to store comforters. The shoe storage pouches are easy to remove. They are simply held on by velcro.For the price, this is an excellent storage chest, and I love mine.

For just over $100, this is a great product. It's pretty well constructed, lightweight, and was easy to put together. The ottoman has a good amount of storage and the hinged lid is the best. It stays open and doesn't fall on you when you are trying to get out items.One downside would be that the sides are not padded underneath the taut fabric. So, they probably could tear or puncture if pushed against hard enough or against with a pointed edge. And, the top is quite firm. It isn't uncomfortable per se, but it isn't cushy either.Overall, I recommend the product to anyone looking for a good quality storage product for under $125.

This ottoman is perfect! It’s well-made, and the fabric is soft almost like a fake suede. The soft dove gray color fits in perfectly with my brand new gray carpeting, and because the carpet is new I actually did not put the legs on The ottoman. But if you choose to have it with legs, they simply screw in. It comes with 20 shoe pockets, as you can see from my photo, each pocket will hold a pair of women’s sandals but is not big enough for a pair of sneakers you would have to put one in each pocket. Or men shoes would have to go one in each pocket. The top is hinged, but stays open until you push it closed. And it is a soft closure, it doesn’t slam. Highly recommend!

This is a really nice, solid piece of furniture--especially for the price. The only assembly required is screwing on the feet, and it is really easy. It looks great when assembled--the feet are solid, nicely stained, and straight (not crooked or wonky). The storage capacity is terrific! It comes with inserts for shoes (and they are REALLY nice; well-constructed), but you can take them out and use it for anything. I bought the grey microsuede. Overall, it's a terrific buy: well-made, looks great, lots of storage. As soon as she saw it, my mom asked me to buy one for her.

This ottoman was exactly what I was looking for; looks exactly like the photo too. It has slots to hold shoes around the inside perimeter that can be removed if unwanted which is a nice perk. I use mine for storing extra bed sheets, blankets, pillows, etc & it holds quite a lot. I have it at the end of my queen-sized bed & it's the perfect length; I don't think I could've picked a better sized ottoman. It's sturdy too; I sit on it quite frequently without worry. Assembly was a breeze - it basically comes already assembled, you just have to screw on the feet. Highly recommend.

It was really easy to assemble and looks nice but it looks like someone stabbed it in the front which I don’t really understand since there are no openings or seams on the box in the front where you would stab there to get it out of the box it came in but other than that it’s a nice piece.

Quality not great , trying to decide if I should return it as the seems look like they are falling apart already & threads are coming out .. Disappointed, I should return or a get large discount, will not last long :(
