watch how you place the screen/keyboard.
This case is great and feels wonderful. The keyboard doesnt have an escape key which is the only fault I have with it. Easy to use when the keyboard is detached as well. the only issue with the case itself is that you have to slide the keyboard towards you so you have enough room to slide the screen towards you. you have to do this to keep the screen standing up else there is not much room between the keyboard and the screen edge. in the pics you see the screen resting just above the keys. there is a lot of the keyboard unit above that and nothing is holding it in place so I do not recommend that position. just slide the keyboard down more and rest the screen above it. the keyboard will stay in place with the magnet toward the bottom. also the screen does not shut off when you close this case on the black model. I read the other colors do. sad since the black so nice and the other colors look feminine.

Inconsistent Features n Fix for Charging
Bought two of these cases at the same time for our two Tab 4s that are the same except one Tab is white and the other is black. This case, which is black and another which is blue, have something different with the keyboards. The blue one automatically turns off the Tab 4 when it is closed and comes back on when opened - very cool indeed! The black one doesn't have this feature. Even when swapping the keyboards, the black keyboard is different. Too bad! Still love both cases and the auto off feature is not advertized, so not expected......just cool. Wish it was a credited feature and on the black keyboard. After using for nearly a year, the cover is an excellent product. I use a 1/2 inch hole punch to cut a clean hole in the flex back to allow charging when folded up. The designer should have thought of this simple solution. Wish theyd resolve the other inconsistency described earlier.

I really like this case
I really like this case, and makes typing so much easier than trying to use the touch screen keyboard. It looks professional, and stands up properly without much effort needed to keep it upright. However, it is a bit thick (about 1 inch) with the keyboard in it. Not only this, but the small flap that holds the case together when it is closed tends to get in the way when I'm typing if you don't tuck it underneath the case. It's fine if you are sitting at a desk, but its a bit uncomfortable if you're putting it on your lap. I'm also worried that with extended use like this, the flap may become worn down if I constantly fold it underneath the case. Also, I'm not sure if I missed this when purchasing it, but the charger for the keyboard only comes with a USB plug.Overall, good case, would buy again.

It's a nice case, I've been hauling it around in my ...
It's a nice case, I've been hauling it around in my backpack and no dings or nicks yet. My only real complaint is that I don't like the "tongue" that sticks out from the keyboard side (tabs the case closed with the magnetic catch) because I don't like folding it under to type in case I break it, but leaving it out means my wrists keep touching it which distracts me. This is seriously minor though, so I didn't knock off a star. The keyboard is also pretty simple to sort out - occasionally it takes a minute for my tablet to acknowledge the connection, but I've been using it to take notes in class for a month now and it works nicely. My biggest issue is that I keep hitting the "home" key instead of the 1, which brings you back to the home screen right in the middle of your sentence! But that's my typing and not the fault of the case.

Nice case, bad keyboard!
What is going on here? First this said it fits the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 inch tablet, however there is about a cm of space which makes the case not quite fit perfectly. I'm ok with that.Charging is a bit of a hassle cause they didn't leave an opening for the charger to pass through. You have to have your case open to allow charging. My BIG problem is that after one day of use some of the keys are not responding properly because the circuits are crossed. This causes unwanted and annoying responses when I press the letters. The letter "b" and "g" are crossed circuit, as well as "h" and "n". What happens is when I press the letter the other appears after it. For instance, when I press "b"; I get "bg" or press "g"; I get "gb". Same thing happens for letters "h" and "n". The back button also does not respond as well as some function buttons. This rendered the keyboard useless for typing long letter letters. I already have stopped using the keyboard and only use this as a case. I considered shipping it back for a refund, but I am not in the USA mainland. If I ship it back it will cause me at least 3 times the sale price. Not worth it. I am just disappointed with this product as a wireless keyboard. it is still a nice looking case but functionally flawed!

Not bad, but could be improved just a bit
I got one and the first thing I noticed is that it more than doubled the weight of the tablet. If you use it for a reader that makes for uncomfortable positions holding it in bed. The key board does work great and you can take it out of the case and just set up the tab and type. Most of the tab buttons are exposed well enough to use, but the mini sd port can not be gotten to. If you use it a lot the involves taking the tab out of the case.

Good quality, easy, practical
Very happy with this product. I use it with a Samsung 10.1 inch tablet SM-P600. High quality materials and workmanship. Easy to setup and use, intuitive. Automatically eliminates the keyboard display from your screen, freeing valuable screen space. The typing produces less errors than using the screen keyboard. Make sure to turn off the keyboard when done, not only to save keyboard battery life; as long as the keybord switch is "on", every time the keys get inadvertently pressed, the tablet is awakened from sleep mode. This will drain your tablet battery and also heat-up the tablet (the screen).

Tablet holder and keyboard was much better than expected
Tablet holder and keyboard was much better than expected. I was on the fence due to the other reviews. It has held up pretty well. I did lose 1 key, but not a deal breaker. I didn't have an issue with it connecting to my device. I've given it some good use along with my toddler and it has still held up. Would purchase again.
