There was absolutely nothing wrong with the toaster I had for years. I recently renovated my kitchen and thought I’d try to find a better looking toaster. I came across this and thought wow!! I love it. I was a little skeptical if it would work right but it does a tremendous job. A couple reviews said the toaster control button wouldn’t stay down so they retuned it. I had that happen once to me. I thought oh no I got one of the duds. Then I realized I forgot to open the catch tray where the toast comes out. Viola. Opened it and it works perfectly. It’s a safety measure so you don’t forget to lower the tray and your toast becomes charcoal. Pretty smart. The toaster opening is large enough for a bagel. It’s a perfect size for white or wheat bread. I buy rye most of the time which the slices are larger. It will toast two slices of rye at once but the bread will stick up a little out of the opening. It doesn’t bother me but if I really need it toasted in the end I will toast one slice at a time. It’s great for a single person or small household. Highly recommend.

Best toaster I have ever had. It does the job consistently. I dont need all the bells and whistles or a 4 slice toaster. I just need it to make great toast consistently. It also takes less counter space which is a plus. I have had mine for 4 years now without any issues. I'm buying another one for my boat.

This new toy takes some getting adjusted to as it is quite tall. Had to find a shelf tall enough to accommodate it when not in use. We don't leave it our on the countertop. It does brown toast and bagels quite fast. If you are cooking more than one batch, you'll need to turn the temp down a little or your food will get too brown. We are pleased with our purchase.

This is faster and toast better. the bottom eject is obviously the best feature. Its harder to push down than most, fine for an adult but might be hard for younger kids. Has a loud clunk when it ends which I think is a plus. Large rye pieces tend to stick out the top if cooking 2 at time, this happens with many toasters. You can just toast 1 piece of a time. Because the toaster is warmer the first batch will be lighter than following batches. Turning the toaster down 2-3 clicks is a must after the first batch if you want consistent toasting. I like the clicky temperature dial. Gives you more consistent results. i do wish there were better marking but honestly you can make your own if you need. I do wish the toaster could be mounted to the wall but it takes up less space than most 2 slice toasters. I have only used it for about a month, but will update this if my impression changes or if it breaks.

I purchased this toaster because all the reviews said it was great, worked perfectly, handy, easy to use, etc. etc., which of course I believed and made the purchase. Unfortunately, their reporting didn't quite turn out to be true. Although there were a couple of issues with it operationally, the biggest problem was it burnt the bread on one edge, and undercooked on the far edge. Completely inconsistent. We returned it, and unfortunately can't recommend it.

Very fast, very efficient. I’ve only used it a few times so far, but I’m very happy with it. It wasn’t until after using it twice that I realized it wouldn’t be a good idea under the cabinet (as pictured), but very little heat had transferred to the underside of the cabinet. Personally I’ll probably pull it out when I use it from now on, just to be safe, but I think it would work just fine directly under your cabinets. Clearance isn’t a problem, either. There’s plenty of room from the top of the toaster to the bottom of the above cabinet. Still, if you choose to use it directly under a cabinet be careful. Like I said, there wasn’t a lot of heat transferred, but different finishes can produce different results, so keep an eye on it. As for the toaster itself, it worked great at reheated some frozen waffles I had made earlier. They even came out with a little extra crispiness that my previous toaster couldn’t provide. They were evenly heated (5 - medium) without much change in color. I haven’t tried toast, but if this thing can handle a waffle with care then I think toast would be no problem at all. Make sure you follow the instructions - it’s like one page of info so there’s no reason not to. Use it empty on high power before actually toasting anything. After this first round I noticed a tiny drop of pink machine lube on my counter. It must’ve shot out when the toasting ejector had activated. This stuff stinks and needs to be burned off. You don’t want it on your food. Hope that helps. I was a little on the fence because of some negative reviews, but I haven’t seen anything yet to make me not love this toaster. It’s perfect. And the price is on point. If you’re like me and considering getting a high-end toaster ($100) - DON’T. At least not without giving this one a try first. I’m very happy with my purchase.

This toaster is by far the best toaster I've owned. I love how you can toaster one side and the crumbs don't build up inside, everything slide out the bottom. Making for easy clean up. Plus, it will fit any size bread. Yes, the outside of the toaster is all plastic, but very solid. Then again what isn't made of plastic these days. Great toaster!!

Really wanted to like this, and I kind of do, but my family was a hard no. Things to know: The majority is plastic. Con: The plastic drop down tray is very poorly designed; it is going to break because it is so hard to close (helpful to squeeze both ends where the clips are). It is also poorly designed because, for me, I wanted something easier to clean and keep clean; the plastic tray has so many ridges and edges that you cannot not simply wipe it clean...it's a whole process! More things to know: Toasting...is not faster and I have to turn this up triple what I would on my older toaster. However, it does seem to toast more evenly. AND so many types of bread get stuck and do not eject!!! Ugh, that was the whole point. It really only works well with store bought, sliced loaf bread. Not Ciabatta, not anything you rip or slice yourself. Hope that helps your decision; great idea, not great execution.

RIDICULOUS! You’re selling to the UK market and send products designed with European plugs! Unacceptable! This product is horrendously disappointing! Built with Nasty and cheap materials. The bottom tray is so flimsy it won’t last a week before snapping off. Will return at sellers expense.

Love this toaster. It cooks the toast some much faster than our old style one and gives and nice even toasting on the slice of bread. The only issue i notices was if you some bread that is really big and the toast falls it might grab a piece of the bread and it doesn't fall all the way out and you may have to tear it out, One I realized that we don't overload it.

Excellent. Cooks my gluten free toast. Quickly so it won’t dry out in toaster.
