I recently purchased the Desert Essence Coconut Body Wash, Coconut Shampoo and Coconut Conditioner on Amazon.com. My husband and I have used other Desert Essence products before and loved them (Tea Tree Blemish Stick- amazing on insect bites and Tea Tree Deodorant which works as well as any deodorant/anti-perspirant with loads of nasty chemicals in it) We have been big fans of coconut-smelling products for a while but I have often shied away, as a lot of them smell very sickly sweet. No one wants to end up smelling like a cupcake or a pina colada!Not so with these! We love love love all three and the smell is subtle and not sweet or overpowering. I have long hair and wash it nearly every day (terrible I know) and the shampoo and conditioner keeps my mane glossy and hydrated. I get little hints of coconut now and then throughout the day but I like that- I live in NYC and having clean smelling hair by the end of the day can be tricky.The body wash has a nice consistency and my husband loves using it. He works on construction sites in all weathers and it doesn't irritate or dry out his skin.Nice packaging- you absolutely get your money's worth with 8fl oz. and as I said, we use them nearly every day and a little goes a long way. When I purchased all three they each had a slightly different label so there as been no confusion during those early morning, bleary-eyed showers!The MASSIVE plus for me with these products is that in addition to using sustainable, organic ingredients, neither the finished product NOR the raw ingredients are tested on animals or contain animal by-products. They are vegan. They are also gluten free and have no nasties (phosphates etc) in them. Plus it is a small American company...let's support them!Highly Recommended.

I chose this wash bc of the ingredients. It's not as good [for me] as other (slightly more expensive, of course) companies that have so little ingredients and focus on a truly natural experience but it's definitely better than all that other Dove mess etc that you'll find on every corner. If you're the type to understand ingredient/content labels then you know they list the most used ingredients to the least. For ppl who live in areas that drop below 40°F, coconut oil is one of the top/main ingredients. If you leave your soap in the windowsill all day during winter- you WILL have a hard time squeezing out anything when you return home. Lol. In it's normal state it's clear and luscious. But just like a jar of pure coconut oil- it's will get white & try to solidify when cold. It was like trying to squeeze mozzarella cheese out of a small tube. I love that it shows the lack of chemicals used that couldve intervened with the coconut oil, but I had to keep in on the sink when I wasn't home on cold days. Will buy again & add a picture of consistency later. Great smell. Not overpowering.

A family favorite body wash. It is an excellent choice not only for a clean scented body care product but most importantly is their item is cruelty free!!

This stuff is amazing. I have used it for years and my face continues to feel refreshed after each use. I love using it in the shower. Now I know most of you will wonder why I'm using body wash on my face. Let me count the reasons:The scent is fantasticThe ingredients are naturalThe lather is richIts gentleness is immeasurableIt leaves my skin feeling fresh and refreshedAll of those reasons are why I use it twice a day.

Absolutely love this body wash. Lathers well and cleans. It works really well especially before using the lotion for an all day hint of coconut

I love this body wash. It's got a great coconut scent that's not overpowering and barely lingers on the skin - just right. My skin feels clean and refreshed after showering with it. A little on a loofah goes a long way, so make sure you're not using too much unnecessarily and it will last a while too.This is also the only body wash I've found containing salycilic acid that isn't specifically designed for acne. Great that the ingredients help keep my skin clear and healthy. I'm happy to stick with this, but I do wish the other desert essence washes had the same formula.

Love all Desert Essence products but this body wash is one of may favorites! Knowing it has good ingredients is a plus for me! The scent is awesome, not overpowering but strong enough to smell nice. It is very moisturizing . Highly recommend! and it come two to a pack!!

I got this first as a gift from my friends. I liked it so much I decided to order on subscribe and save. The very first shipment came and when I opened the package there was body wash EVERYWHERE. I can even open the package around the containers because they are so slippery. I reviewed the delivery and they won’t even refund or let me return.But the product itself smells so good and is so nice on the skin! Definitely good for sensitive skin too.

Smells lovely, although there are many other scents as well as coconut. The body wash is very economical, in a big tube, and very soft on the skin.

I received one Coconut Body Wash, hand-wrapped in a bag, and there was soap in the bag (it leaked) -- not the "Pack of 3" promised. I'm only given the option of a return. Don't buy this product!
