Perfect Match for My Project!
I was in a bind! I had purchased a needlepoint kit and ran out of the peach thread. Since it was included in the kit and was not DMC thread, I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish this gift for my friend's wedding but luckily, I found this ball and it is a perfect match! Now my project is saved and I should never run out of peach thread again, lol.

Misleading Photo Indicating Multiples
DMC embroidery thread is the gold standard and my Mom loves working with it. My complaint is that the photo for this color looked like it was for multiples of the one red color, so I jumped on it. She received it today and it's just one spool of red thread, so be aware. (Amazon, please check what your sellers are posting - thanks.)

Dependable and good performance for French knots
I used this when I ran out of my Valdani thread while making French knots and straight stitches on a bag pattern from Yoko Saito's Japanese Taupe Study book. While I love, love, love Valdani thread (did I say I LOVE Valdani??), I can't buy it in single balls locally, so paying postage for a ball or two from other vendors is often prohibitive for me (though Amazon sells Valdani sets in a very good variety). A friend gave me two sets of Valdani as gifts (she was working in the industry at the time and bought them wholesale), and I've been hoarding every little scrap of thread. Having said that, DMC is always dependable. I have used it for years for embroidery (separating the three-strand variety), and it has never disappointed me. This is the first time I've bought the DMC perle cotton, and it performed exceptionally well for French knots and straight embroidery stitches. I haven't used it for anything other than that, but now that I know it is a quality product, I will. In looking at the bag front and back after using both Valdani and DMC, I don't think anyone would be able to tell which thread is which on the bag (though I used the variegated Valdani on some of the accents, and that is beautiful). I'm pleased with the DMC and would buy it again. (Keep in mind that a single ball of it is an add-on product, so stash it in your Amazon cart until you have your $25 minimum and the postage is free.)

Seems very strong
Purchased to tie a denim quilt rather than try to machine quilt it. The product is rather thicker than regular embroidery floss and not the traditional 6 strands together only 1 strand. I can make this work but it will take a little more time. Color and packaging excellent. Quilters will understand this review. LOL

Qualité et prix pour cette balle
Pour la broderie, après vérification, ce produit est trop dispendieux, car cette balle coûte seulement 3,40$

Extremely small, ball 2/3 empty
Don't be fooled by the pictures, but rather pay attention at the specified size of the thread ball - see the product dimensions, so you're not surprised as I was. The balls are ridiculously small and, as shown, they're 2/3rds empty. Both thread balls stacked, they're as tall as a small paper clip box. The price is outrageous for the size. Shameless seller, deceiving photos.
