Pros: Works well with Dragon Naturally Speaking. It's wireless.Cons:The build quality is really shoddy. One of the ear pads was ripping open straight out of the box; had to put a bit of glue on it. It's barely used and one of the plastic hinges already broke. The over the ear pads are too hot.

Good headset
It works somewhat. On SKYPE, if I remotely (at the headset) mute the audio, it disconnected, so I had to go thru the process of options to reconnect, a software bug. The range is somewhat limited in my house.

Waste of money. I had to buy a better one.
Came without any how to use instructions and the online instructions proved to be inadequate. I had problems getting these to ork each time I activated my speech to text software on both my iMac and my Windows. They now lay idle, unused, after a meek spent finding them a nuisance. They are not comfortable and I do not use them. I wasted my money. I purchased a far more expensive speaker, I which I had bought these first. My $500. cost Sonnheiser is brilliant—it works instantly at every new speech to text session. My fault for settling for a cheaper model hoping it wound be good enough for my speech to text needs. If you can, spend a little more for a better product than this.

Exceptional speech recognition headset, for music as well.
I've owned in the past many speech recognition headsets, but this is by far the best I ever had. I always thought there was better out there. And now, after experiencing the quality of speech recognition and listening to music. This Andrea, 1500 headset is exceptional and won't break the bank. I highly recommend this product.

Okay, but...
Use for language practice with my Mac Pro. Uses a USB connection and is wireless. Setup easy. Headphones produce very good sound so work well for listening to music, etc. Microphone placement near user's mouth can be a bit tricky. Sensitivity and volume for microphone are not what I hoped for. Voice reproduction is not clear and crisp making use with interactive programs frustrating. Give it an okay for listening.

Very disappointing
I purchased this to do medical transcription based on someone's posting on MTStars.com. I was very disappointed. The audio quality was not very good at all. You had to download software off the internet to be able to change any of the settings, and I still couldn't get very good quality. I was working on a job and had to put a QA marker in a spot I couldn't understand. Then I switched back to my hold headphones that were acting up (and thus the reason for buying new ones), and I understood that part of the dictation just fine. I immediately put these back in the box and contacted Amazon. Maybe for music they would be fine, but not for voice only dictation.

Best for price.
Not the best one out there but it was decent headphones.

Breaks
I second the Broke too easily review. The design is not good, barely used (twice a week or so) and they literally starting falling off my head during a conference call because the little black mount broke same as described in the other review. Don't purchase these. Battery life is also pretty bad.

Poor quality
Plastic broke where the headset piece attaches to the head band within a few weeks of use. Had to be returned and will look for a replacement.

Poor for recognition.
I bought this for speech recognition. This has been advertised as being very good for voice recognition, however I have found that recognition is rather poor with this device. Yes, I did position my microphone properly to take into account noise cancelation. Playback is rather good however.

Improves accuracy of Dragon Dictate
These headphones work as advertised and resulted in increased accuracy in Dragon Dictate, the purpose for which I purchased them. That they fold down into a nice case is a bonus.

Perfect for voice recognition
I just ordered this headset for use with Dragon Dictate 3.03 for Mac. Works much better than the wireless Plantronics one I had been using. Accuracy is much improved due to the excellent noise cancelation. The headset is also quite comfortable and great sound. For the money, it can't be beat!
