Jawbone Big JAMBOX Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Red Dot (Certified Refurbished)

I love the sound quality of this thing! The battery life is surprisingly great, the clarity is wonderful, and the volume is insane. There are a few hiccups though, for instance turning up the volume on the speaker doesn't remotely turn up the volume of the source and vice versa. For example, if you turn up the max volume of the music on the phone but the max volume of the speaker isn't set, you still need to press the volume up button on the speaker to get the absolute max volume of sound. Another odd thing that happens every once in a while is that the volume up button sometimes gets stuck, not physically but virtually, after pressing the volume up button once, the volume will some increasingly get louder as if I am repeatedly pressing the button. This is only a problem because the max volume of this speaker is so loud and when this does happen it can be quite jarring. But when this speaker does behave properly it is quite a wonderful thing.

Stereo functionality went defective about 15 days beyond the window for a refund. Now only one side of stereo recordings play through this defective unit. The bass frequencies are way too boomy anyway. The Jambox is a major double disappointment.

Love the sound, blasts without distortion. Speaker looks new, have to really look closely to see any blemishes of which there are only a couple. The charger sucked. I had to make sure the plug was rotated just so into the speaker and that pressure was applied to one side for it to charge. Then I had to check it periodically to ensure it was still charging. A new 12V charger solved the problem.5 Stars if charger had worked.

Good speaker

Great product and I know these guys haven't updated their hardware in sometime but they are still being rated in the top 10 of bluetooth speakers after all these years. What that says is that while Logitech, JBL and Bose are all making great products but this Jawbone is still able to compete.I had one of these already and purchased it sometime back. I was looking for another bluetooth speaker and was tempted by many on the market. The reason I got another one of these instead was because I decided there was no reason I had change technology. I have this one upstairs and the other downstairs.There are cheaper products out there and new technologies that are around the same price. The cheaper entry level speakers sound good and are coming with more technologies included. The newer versions such as the JBL charge2 or flip2 (I cannot keep up) are also great products but you'll be paying to close what you'd purchase the Jawbone for.I bought the jawbone for the sound, looks and connectivity. All are fantastic. I use the spakerphone occasionally without any issues and the battery life is excellent. Portability, not so much and perhaps there are better products out there for that.

Unexpectedly Powerful!Fantastic!I put it in a corner of the living room on the floor and the entire living room booms. My friends even asked me where the sound was coming from, so rich and loud and clean. I love my Jawbone and the price was the best!

We had the small Jambox and knew about the quality of Jawbone. When I started doing research online for bigger speakers I narrowed it down to the Big Jambox, Bose and UE MegaBoom and JBL Charge 2. After seeing a youtube video of the Big ambox going head to head with the Bose Soundlink and killing it, it was a done deal. $129.99 Refurbished! Im a happy man. I use this everywhere and have eliminated my big , wired, clunky computer speakers. Inside, outside, iphone, tablets, laptops, desktops and everything. Boooyaa! The end.

Charger doesn't work right outta the box and they have left no contact for me to return it. Maybe some one will see this and contact me
