This was given as a gift and the receiver was very happy with it. Said it was now possible to handle a hot cast iron skillet without the bulk of an oven mitt or towel. The square could be a little bigger, but all in all, a very good gift.

So it’s less functional than water proof BBQ gloves, but it looks way better, and even works better (when dry)! With my “1,500 degree” gloves I can hold a 450 degree cast iron pan for 10 seconds. With this, I can hold that same cast iron for 30-60 seconds (using one holder vs two) before it even starts getting uncomfortable. Only problem, leather is useless when it gets wet. Every man should cook with cast iron (even on a glass top) and use these holders. LOVE THEM!

The only down side I've experienced so far is the handle cover is too small to fit on Lodge skillet handles.

I bought this kit for my husband and he loved them. They are very durable and saves you from getting burnt. They do get hot if you leave them on the pan on the stove while cooking but I don't think they are meant to stay on while cooking but my husband does what he wants. The leather is very thick and the stitching is done well. I would buy them again.

This set seemed too good to be true for the price and I am amazed at every aspect of it, from the packaging to the practicality of it. Such an incredible gift for any kitchen (or Iron pan) loving man in your life. I say “man” cause they look intentionally very masculine and handsome, but obviously these would be immensely enjoyed by anyone who loves beautiful, quality things. 10/10, THANK YOU!

Love the whole set, perfect add to my cast iron cookware. No more burned fingers ! I recommend this for anyone that uses a cast iron skillet
