Reef Safe Sunscreen SPF 30, Waterproof, 2 oz.

Best customer service ever! They answered questions I had in a timely and professional manner. I am a VERY white girl here in Florida and the sun protection with this reef safe product is perfect. It wasn’t hard to put on or rub in and I didn’t burn hours in the pool. Originally ordered it for a trip to the Bahamas but I use it all the time now. I know it’s pricey, but the biodegradable packaging and reef safe product is totally worth the price.

I REALLY wanted to like this sunscreen. I bought 3 different kinds of “reef safe” sunscreen after reading tons of reviews on Amazon and other sites (mama kuleana, Raw Love, and Seven Minerals) and put them on 3 different parts of my body (all getting equal sun). I reapplied all 3 during the several hours I was in and out of the sun and I burned ONLY (and badly) with this one. Its very noticeable. It’s also hard to apply, doesn’t rub in well and feels kind of sticky on my skin. Do not recommend.

First of all this stuff smells like heaven. I also love that it comes in cardboard packaging instead of plastic and very happy for the sustainable reef-safe ingredients. But that's basically all the good things. It's very greasy, made my shoulders, chest, and back breakout and made everything I touched on the boat very slippery. Also, it doesn't last long - in terms of length of wear (2 hours MAX, they aren't kidding, more like every hour which is a lot of layers of greasy body butter!) and how long the "2oz" lasts. It was unclear from packaging if it's 2 fluid oz or 2 oz weight, but the container has a false bottom about 1" above the actual bottom so what you see when you open the tub is not what you get. When my fingers hit the bottom of the tub on day 3 I was very disappointed. With the amount I had to apply and as often as I did, it only lasted this boat captain 4-5 days in the Bahamas sun and had to buy a different sunblock for my face because of how greasy this is. Despite the amazing smell and non-plastic packaging, I'll be looking elsewhere next time.

This works well and it comes in a environmentally safe container (made of sturdy paper it seems) but it is so messy trying to use it. U have to scoop it out.

Wanted to love it since it is reef safe and made on Maui. While a great idea for the environment, the container is difficult to handle, and is not made for taking to the beach. Very messy and wastes precious sunscreen. Very little product for the price. Maybe 2-3 applications. The sunscreen feels nice while applying. Very disappointing.

Loved this sunscreen. A TINY bit goes a long way. Very thorough coverage- long lasting. We took this Hawaii for our vacation and had no issues with sunburns. Definitely will purchase again.

I have tried SO many different reef safe and natural sunscreens. This one is my favorite! The container is even biodegradable! If it falls off the boat I don’t have to worry about it being a plastic pollutant. I just ordered two more.

The contents are much less than you would expect with the size of the package. Most of the cream was stuck to the top of the lid so really ended up with not much useable left. I did use it on my face and I actually ended up getting burned a little. So it is hard to trust it and there is not much of it. I appreciate the biodegradable packaging and smells great though.
