So far so good!
The media could not be loaded. As you see from my video review - this item was part of several Amazon purchases. This item has met my expectations- no installation or setup needed. Just plug it in and hit the switch!Plug is quality enough. The switch— not sure of the longevity for this piece. No clue as to the battery type that powers the switch. I cannot get the cover to battery off.Functionality is perfect for use as a remote or switch. It is a wall mounted plate that the remote/switch part can lid on and off easily.I do like the tactile on off indents - makes it easy to fumble around in dark and switch it on.No delay- it’s as instant as flipping an electrical wired switch. No need for wifi connectivity.Overall very satisfied with the product. Time will tell if it’s durable- but either way the process is right! Would buy again.

Works even around corners!
Super easy to install and use, even at a surprisingly far distance. I did not expect that it would work so well without direct line of sight from the plug to the switch, but it does!I like that the switch can be mounted to a wall with a plate, but can still be used as a remote if needed; it comes with screws to attach the wall plate to the wall, but it would also be nice if it came with a non-invasive method of affixing, such as glue strips or double-sided tape. These are a great way to add convenience to an outlet's operation, and I will be looking for any excuse to get another one!

Almost great, but excellent customer service
Honestly, I love these. I have 4 of them in my house, controlling separate things, and they work pretty well. I really like not having to try to hard-wire things in places where it's too difficult. I do have a couple gripes with them, though. The first is that they can sometimes be temperamental in terms of the switch turning the outlet on or off. I feel like it works about 96% of the time, and other times I have to press it multiple times for it to work. I also find that there's also sometimes a delay in the lights turning on. So I press the button and about 2 seconds later the lights turn on.The other gripe I have is that the switches have set frequencies that seem like the can't be manually separated or reset. In my kitchen, I have a plug-in pendant light I installed over the sink, and I have a set of under-cabinet LED strip lights. These are on separate Dewenwils switches, and I want them to operate separately (so one switch should control one light, and the other switch should control the other light). However, when I ordered the switches, I saw that the back of them had a sticker with the code 0304. And lo and behold, both switches controlled both lights. Similarly, I had installed the first one of these in the rental unit a floor below for some recessed shelf lights, and I recently discovered that the switch down there ALSO has the 0304 code, so the remote controls that light as well (and these were purchased about a year apart). For people stating that the range for these switches is really short, in my case, it's the opposite. The switch upstairs in the kitchen controls the outlet downstairs in the rental unit and vice versa. And fwiw, the outlet downstairs is actually inside a 'cinderblock box' (because it's in a bedroom that was created by commandeering and outfitting half the garage).Ultimately, I want to give these switches a 4.5 rating, but that doesn't exist. HOWEVER, the Dewenwils customer support team was excellent in helping solve the issue of having separate switches in my kitchen, and that's what pushed me to give this a 5-star rating instead of 4-star. I had contacted them and sent a video showing what I was trying to do and what I was actually happening in my kitchen, and they sent me a new switch/outlet, totally for free. I think they assumed that since this came direct from them instead of Amazon, it should have a different frequency. Unfortunately, it also had the code 0304 on the back, so the same problem persisted. But as soon as I wrote back explaining that it was still happening, they worked to find one with a different code/frequency (0308, so now my lights work as intended), they shipped it super quickly, didn't require me to send back the other one, didn't charge me for anything, and they were also nice enough to send me a bonus product to try out!It seems like maybe my particular use case is not common (I imagine most people are trying to actually pair more outlets and switches together), so a lot of lights produced by the company have the same frequency. But I'm getting ready to order another two switches, so hopefully they come on a fourth and fifth frequency that I don't already have, lol.

Light switch is good
I got this one and it lasted about a year, but I liked it. I decided to get another one. There is a slight delay in the lights turning, but built sturdy. I would say about 2 or 3 seconds and I got used to it.
