Took some practice to get it on properly but once I figured it out it was great. Our cockapoo has an ACL tear and I kept it on her religiously for two weeks. Then just used it when she was out for a walk for another couple of weeks. She seemed to find it comfortable as well. She is walking now without a limp. A much better option than surgery. The only problem is that it has a TON of velcro and our poor dog actually got velcroed to the rug and couldn't move. We ended up having to put a childs sock over it which fixed the problem but was a bit of a hassle. That's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.

This worked wonders for my dog!!
My lab was diagnosed with a partial cruciate ligament tear and could not put any weight on her leg. My vet gave anti inflammatory meds and rest with no help. After two days of wearing this she showed remarkable improvement. At first she will try to chew on it and take it off but if I watch her she stops after awhile and leaves it alone. I kept it on for 10 hours or more. I put it on everyday for ten days and her limp was barely noticeable. I walk her everyday and for 4 weeks I would put it on when she walked. After a month she no longer has any problems and has no limp. Very impressed with the product and the technology works well. Nothing else was working. Highly recommend this product to treat injured and inflamed joint.

Back on Track Hock brace
I would recommend this to anyone whose dog is having pain in this area and walking with a lame leg. It may not prevent having surgery but at least it helps the dog temporarily to stablize the leg and reduce the pain. The only thing that I would say needs improvement is they need to make an extra small and extra-extra small. One of my friends couldn't purchase one because her dog's legs are too small for one. She had to end up paying for the surgery since she couldn't buy anything to stablize her dog's hock pain.

my dog is small
I really cannot knock this product. but this was the smaller one they had, and it just was not small enough. my little Peekapoo, had developed a knee problem, where the joint, comes out of line, she already had surgery for it and they wanted to do it again. I feel this was less invalsive. but I would have to cut the brace down to use it.

It really does work, I have a small terroir dog so her leg is very small so it doesn't stay in place that well and she scratches at it during naps. If she would leave it be it would help her a lot more, it does its job.

The velcro placement on these wraps is annoying. My dog can't wear both of them at the same time without his legs sticking together. He also sticks to the dog beds and drags blankets around the house because everything sticks to them. If the tabs were set up in the opposite way they wouldn't have this problem.

This has helped my dog when going on walks. She has been having issues with her back legs, so we figured we would give this a shot to give her more support, which it has. The only thing I don't like is that her hair gets stuck in the velcro overtime and its hard to get off, but other than that it has served its purpose for the price.

WET WEATHER PROBLEM
My black lab has soft tissue injuries to both back legs. I was hoping these wraps would provide her with some relief. However, living in SE Alaska (rainforest), I found that when wet they blistered her heels. Since it's frequently wet here, these didn't work well for her.
